    My daughter in law has terrible allergies. I made a batch of this for her. She now turns to her bottle of " snot blocker", as she calls it, instead of her pharmaceuticals that made her sleepy.
    Thankyou for teaching us these so very simple miracles....that are right under our noses!

    I love how you use things that we are already doing. And it's kind of common knowledge to explain the things that you're teaching us like jam and honey.

      It's not as common as you think. There are millions and millions of humans who don't even know how to make a cup of tea beyond Lipton's let alone infuse herbs that they just think are for cooking into honey for healing benefits.

    My brother just got his own hive this year so I sent this to him. I make a mixture of honey, red onion, fresh ground black pepper, fresh garlic, turmeric, ginger root. I take a tablespoon once a day. If people around me are sick I take two tbsp today. I did get covid but only had a runny nose for 2 days.

    Thank you so much! In a minute I'll be out in my garden and make some sage-infused honey! And also a huge thank you for mentioning white sage - even here in Germany, people buy it from stores at ridiculously high prices thinking it is more spiritual than our garden sage, not knowing they do so much harm to the plant allies overharvested...

      I’m glad you asked that too. I was wondering how you get the plant out!

    • @illex759
      @illex759 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      You strain it exactly like you would pasta noodles. Use a clean strainer. However you can leave the plant material in indefinitely. It becomes an instant tea that way (spoonful of honey/sage into hot water). If you do strain, just leave the strainer over the jar while you do something else because it takes a bit for the honey to finish dripping.😄

      Pineapple sage is good to use, white sage is a big plant in an entirely different family that you'd honestly have to specifically purchase. It also has a pretty pungent scent and won't have a square stem as it's not a mint.
