Even if you can cut and adapt detachable module to the Concerto, then it will no longer be what it was meant to be, you probably can't even drive the xMEMS drivers at all
@donglemadness yeah that's the most important point. Implementing xmems drivers requires a module and fixed cable. I hope the technology improves on that.

They could make a modular cable system like the Noble Audio XM-1. It's not cheap. Do you think that if we can adjust the Hiby Xeno, will it provide a concerto-like sound quality?

So, do you think the Concerto shows a technical performance at the electrostatic level? For example the Shure KSE- series. So, if you had to give an example from another iem, which iem does xeno resemble?
No, Shure KSE1500 legitimate Electrostatic is literally peerless and incomparable to anything I have tried so far, way on its own territory of supremacy

Do all DAP with android before version 14 will downsample your music unless you use their purposely build music player app and USB DAC mode and when they are in USB DAC mode there will be delay if you watch movie and play game through it? Do USB DAC has audio delay?
Many of them (Android DAPs) are already removed of SRC resampling on their Android OS which means you can run any app and it will always be Bitperfect. This was already in practices even for DAPs from 2020 onwards. No audio delays that I am aware of be it stock Android or no
Oh I see but one Taiwanese TH-camr said the ZX707 downsample and upsample again if you use non walkman app to play the music and many DAP forum said there is delay and not usable if you use it to connect headphone to a PC to play game and movie, that make me think a USB Dongle DAC make more sense but that Taiwanese TH-camr also said DC-Elite sound quality is more deep if connect to phone and connect to a DAP will sound better because of better power supply, true?
Both Dusk and Mega5Est are tuned differently favoring Harman curve which means they focus a bit more on Subbass and prominent suppression of lower Mids. Concerto as noted in this video behaves more like V sound curve with more emphasis on Midbass and lower Mid, it also offers faster transient response (more resolving power for complex stuffs) due to being a hybrid of xMems and Linear Planar
@ what about the attack and the fullness of the planar driver in the bass? I will get that with the concerto or because its mid bass focus the bass response of the dusk with 2dd is better? Rn I have the timeless ae and I'm looking for upgrade in the bass

For me dsp means bad quality, resolution, I tried dusk on dsp, and it becomes like 40 dollar iem sound. Just because you need a good dac and dsp is cheap and bad dac. That's why I worry and will not buy it( And tunning - how it can be neutral with so v shaped curve? Thats a question
Neutral is just a way of saying it’s tuned to diffuse field or Harman target, it does not mean flat. Also dsp does not add distortion in healthy volume

When scientists ask which speaker they prefer, it's surprising that the best-sounding one is also the most neutral to the ear. So, good sounding is taken as neutral, and every now and then, they ask if the speakers are neutral or not.

Back then bought the Moondrop A8, it was god awful, sounded very distorted and incoherent. Said never again Moondrop. Now I bought the Moondrop Little White neckband Bluetooth DAC AMP and while the sound and power is not bad at all - the software is completely broken out of the box. Utter Garbage. Never never ever Moondrop again

I don't think you can adjust the Xeno to emulate Concerto, the combo of xMems with Superlinear Planar makes it different from Xeno setup, quality wise

Its the DSP and the nature of the set-up, with the hybrid mems and the planar, they require two separate sets of amps. No way around it.

How does this iem compare to something like the dusk or the mega5est?
Both Dusk and Mega5Est are tuned differently favoring Harman curve which means they focus a bit more on Subbass and prominent suppression of lower Mids. All it need is the USB power and I use Concerto 80% of the time with my Android phones
