Hey all my ferret and cat friends. Here are some easy DIY Cats toys that also double as ferret toys. You probably have most of, it not all of the items to make these DIY’s at home. It’s amazing what you can do with an old t-shirt or old blanket!

Hi. I recently started making pom poms and as a fellow ferret owner, do they pull them a part? Everything I tie and I even use zip ties, pieces of yarn still come out when I pull. Am I being overly paranoid about this or will it be fine for them. Thanks
I definitely don’t think you’re being paranoid! You can never be to careful with ferrets, they are always doing something crazy 😂. It’s ok if they pull them apart as long as they aren’t eating it. If they’re eating it, I would not give them anymore pom poms. Some ferrets will eat stuff and others don’t. Up until recently none of my ferrets ever chewed or ate anything like toys, fleece, yard ect… but my new baby prince loves to chew the tiny fabric ears off toys. 🤦♀️ so I had to take them all away 😢. I’ve also noticed that the fleece pom Poms tend to stay together better than the yarn ones, but if they pull hard enough the fleece pieces can come lose too.
😢. Some ferrets chew/eat fleece, yarn and other stuff like that and some don’t. So far none of mine have been chewers, but I do have one that likes to try and eat the cornstarch packing peanuts. So when I get them out for the ferrets to jump in I have to watch her like a hawk. Even though “they” say the cornstarch ones are safe and won’t hurt them, it still freaks me out to let her eat them.
