But recently watching the episode “Money, Pt. 1” from season 4, I noticed how his coworkers at his second job invited him to hang out with them after work. Really little detail, but I like how it subtly shows how Michael changed.

I think this and "Take Your Daughter To Work Day" are the episodes that really display what a truly lonely person Michael is. Outside of Dunder Mifflin, Michael really doesn't have anyone who really puts up with him.
I think the reason is that in my theory, Michael had an abusive parents, his mom or maybe his stepfather, that's why he always wanted treated his coworkers like his family and why he always wanted to have kids
And what's even sadder is they have to put up with him because he's their boss. They have the option of quitting, but that's their livelihood. They have no choice but to go along with his latest antics or wild ideas.

I always thought that if the show went on longer that Michael would be a screenwriter or actor or something. Jim would be a businessman probably in advertising or something, he was so creative with his pranks. Pam would be an artist. Kelley would be a music video producer. Ryan would be a Silicon Valley tech guy. Toby would be a fiction writer. Daryl would be a music producer. Oscar would be a movie critic. Angela would run an animal shelter. Dwight would of course run Shrute Farms. Kevin would be a restaurateur. Meridith would be a guidance counselor (she was studying child psychology). Creed would be in some band, I don’t know. Stanley would retire. Phyllis would start her own party planning business. Erin would bounce around to different jobs, whatever felt right. Andy would teach at a school. Gabe would still be working for Jo.
Ken Jeong is such a great actor, man. The way he looked excited when Michael seemed like he was doing it right, and the look of despair when he just pulled out another gun was magnificent

Dwight would of course run Shrute Farms. Kevin would be a restaurateur. Meridith would be a guidance counselor (she was studying child psychology). Creed would be in some band, I don’t know. Stanley would retire. Phyllis would start her own party planning business. Erin would bounce around to different jobs, whatever felt right. Andy would teach at a school. Gabe would still be working for Jo.
