I've actually done this myself when the level cap was still 32. I used Aldbars quarterstaff rogue build guide for free to play. The timing was fantastic cuz I got good equipment out of three barrel cove and night revels. It's still the only way for a free player to get amount unless they use their accumulated DDO points.
Happy new greatsword & yes ransack is 8 chests/week. Ouch when you mention proof in poison - i think many of us have some pretty rough memories of that one & easily one of the toughest quests to try at level imo - one of those feather in your cap ones if you manage to complete, particularly on a first life. I quite like the quirky cat quest - maybe for the fact it was a collaboration with the wider community.
Thank you! I really don't have time to do that right now unfortunately - heading out of town early tomorrow for the holidays and will be traveling all through the weekend. Maybe Strimtom will make one again? His one was really good last time.
@@BlightCaster For the free to play account I won't be claiming it - keeping it pure free to play only and not doing events or promotions either because players watching this in the future won't have access to it. For my main account I'll just stick it at the bank until I want something from it.
Yeah, I have read about that. Never actually tried the /death thing on the f2p account though. But that has to be a bug which is liable to get fixed at some point, so I decided to skip gatekeepers for this series since it isn't really free to play even if it sort of functions as free to play right now.
Proof is in the Poison has a nasty section where you have to do platform jumps over a pool of acid. This part always gets under my skin and I end up very annoyed, so much so I almost never run this quest anymore.
I ransacked Catastrophe last week I got FIVE named items Scarlet Scale Bracers THREE times and Ball o' Yarn Twice. I was looking for the Transmutation Talisman to say I was salty was an understatement.
I know a lot of cool people that I play with. DDO is so much more fun with a community of people to play with regularly. I used to not have that. And I enjoy having the audience I do on TH-cam, so that definitely motivates me to play often and keep up with things.
Sure you might after quests is done get a better item, but I've played quests that the weapon breaks during the quest and not useable then you out of a weapon punch your way through the quests
I'm really enjoying this series. Thank you. I can't wait to see how you handle reincarnation.
Thank you deadshot for the donation, glad you like the videos and thanks for watching!
I asked a few of the other streamers to do this over the last couple years. And they were less than willing.

Im here just for the algorithm and to remind you to make a vid about the new monthly dragon year reward.

Oh and don't forget you can play the four gatekeepers quests. But you have to use the/death command in order to exit after you complete.

It seems to be a known bug. It's actually listed on the wiki. I farmed some pretty good pieces of equipment out of those quests since it came out.

@@aloisiosenra Yep! Will be running through Proof is in the Poison in Episode 7.
Resistance + Protection from acid and you just breeze through. Pots + equipment make it a breeze. Adsorb helps to.
@BrianStevens-y6h not in Elite. It's not a breeze in the slightest.
@@aloisiosenra With the right preparation, reaper isn't too bad.
@christocanoid a free to play account not always have the tools to prepare adequately for that.

I think the Fred dating quest is the stupidest cat turning into a dragon, not bad
Also when you do turn in you can get portable hole
thank you for doing your videos, ive been playing in and out for several years, but i have an issue with keeping game fresh, what is your secret?

If DDO wants you this, then drop the items more so you don't have to ransack
