Fun fact: if you shoot the platform with the Stasis Rifle before it falls, it will permanently be stuck like 15ft above the water and will be basically inaccessible... learned that the hard way....

You can't use any vehicles. If you want to go down deep, you need to put bases down, and once you build something you can't deconstruct it.
Then the most insane one, no vehicles, no bases, just a seaglide.

I think its kind of invalid as a challenge. i mean, you had plenty of way to actually go with the seamoth past 900m. here how could have you did it:
1) Repair tool every time your durability is under 35% (yes, the repair speed is enough to bring it back to 100%)
2) After a test run, decide after how much meters you build a moonpool (its around 400m distance), allowing for air, repair and recharge of the seamoth
3) a second seamoth and a moonpool near the island so to use the portal later on.
