Had a 65 500 xl 2 door hardtop as my second car.
Started as a 352 4 barrel car, automatic Trans and 3:23 rear gears.
1st motor change was a 390 hi po then a c6 auto and 4: 11 rear gears.
Last motor change was a 428 super cobra jet that was putting out a little over 500 hp.
We surprised quite a few chevelles and road runners with that little package lol

I had the same Model only one trim level below this, Had the Bench seat Front, 352 CID Four Barrel, Red with a Black Interior but a White Top, was a Original 45K Car...should have hung on to it..Best looking Ford Ever in My Opinion....Beauty of a car....

I hate these cars that have the exhaust pipes sticking out the back like they do. They look silly and unnatural. That's not the way they were put together back in the day.
