    My friend and colleague Deniz Kaymaz recently listed this amazing yacht for sale and asked me to travel to Turkey and film her. I didn't need any persuading. The area of Bodrum is a wonderful spot to film in, and "Dilnisin" is a wonderful yacht...in a wonderful spot!

    The phrase that comes to mind is Harmony of design, craft and function.. the feel of this vessel is of quiet quality.
    The engineering and logic underlying this vessel is both born of experience and that little extra daring the choice of Engines.. the layout and then the adding of the stern foil.
    So many dont consider that sort of efficiency gain ..because it doesnt show.

    Wow! 8 passengers decent crew and great choices in systems. Simplicity and functional beauty. Classic but so very modern in how it is designed. One of my favorite of the more manageable type of boats. Something you could owner operate and take plenty of guests with you.

    Lovely looking, exquisitely built and with great proportions. Note to builders, you don't have to pack a hull with loads of cabins and dining-rooms that never get used. Keep it simple. As for the engineroom, FAB. Thanks David and the team.

    Oh I agree with this comment like no other! I've been commentating on yacht videos for years close to decades were why do shipyards build these complicated layouts over simple practicality! Yes 3 bars on one deck. Cabinets all over the place, saloons with a tv on the wall away from saloon. Weird jelly bean shaped saloon couches instead of simple l or u shape couches like on this! Mainly I find the used to build the yacht around the saloon but today outdoor space is first kitchen second and the saloon is last as an afterthought! We're do you spend all your time when not in water and nights?? THE SALOON for goodness sake! This is a beautiful vessel, simple elegant full of space, not cramped with bars and cabinets just perfect ! All modern builders need to go back to the old roots! Happy sailing all🛥⚓and God bless all 🙏❤ thanks Dave!

    ... nice work David & Crew ... luv' ta' see ya' in that wonderful beard & bare feet ... oh, so cool & relaxed ... the jewel tone richness of the colour of this production is an absolute delight of fresh air ... & speaking of fresh air, I'm soon moving to the Canadian Rockies; Banff ... & will be 'high & dry' from the wonderful joys of Yachts ... but, will look forward to a much anticipated hopeful holiday @ the Monaco SuperYacht Show this October; (book ended with the Genoa Event?) ... luv' it this fine ship ... the colourways are amazing .... cinnabar & sea salt, turqoises, & caramel tans ... just a yummy palette ... much can be said of the 'comfort fit' ... this is just right ... integrity & solidarity, sturdy & reliable ... very, very nice ... a cozy place to call home ... love the textiles ... so inspiring for my embroidery & knitting ... yes, I'm sure that some 'treasures' are 'keepers' for the owners ... love the chronometer; adds such historic character ... love the shower; looks good too; just the right height ... a nice efficient compact galley ... great for morning menemen or sucuklu yumurta & borek? ... favourite sea bass ... or the lip puckering anchovies? ...can the two beds be joined into a king size? ...I'm a big believer in pantry & food storage ... very glad to see the freezers ...wow, what an engine room ... I must check out the Scania ... oh, wow ... with the final parting footage, I'd love to be onboard ... I'll think of this when I'm in the Canadian 'Chilly Rocks' ... love the split screen work too ... bye' til' next time ... see you soon ...

    I've seen a few "skylounge" flybridges without a helm station, so a "sundeck" makes sense. Unless you're an owner operator and wanting that driving perch in the sun, sure. Sunseeker Sports and Princess F-Class will always have a helm up there for good reason... but for a fully crewed vessel, my goodness it's almost _so obvious_ that almost everyone has missed it.

    That ships chronometer probably cost as much as the yacht ☺️

  • @sdsorrentino
    @sdsorrentino ปีที่แล้ว +1

    OK, wildly confused here. Potable water is just water safe to drink. The ships watermaker, generally a reverse osmosis unit on vessels that size, makes water that's perfectly safe to drink. In another comment you confirm it does have a watermaker. So why can't people drink the water from that system? And if it's not safe to drink, why would anyone want to take a shower in it?
    Are yachties just so difficult to please that they refuse to drink water out of a watermaker? Do they realize that this sounds to me like a Princess and the Pea sort of situation? Should I accidentally become a guest on one of these vessels would I immediately be found out as a working class imposter because I was perfectly willing to drink water from the tap the same as I am at home?
    Are there any other dead giveaways that people like me don't belong? Or should I give up now and try the old "Noble Savage" routine that Benjamin Franklin worked to such good effect in Paris?
    "Sean like tap water. Sean have no bottled water in America. Sean find bed too soft. Please put pea under mattress so Sean can sleep."

    • @Yachtsforsaleblog
      @Yachtsforsaleblog  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Sean, thanks for your comment. Most yachts use the water maker for showers and wash downs only. I’ve never drunk from a tap on a boat, but I imagine it wouldn’t be great. After all it’s just desalinated sea water rather than mineral water.
      Now that I think about it, when I’m in the US most restaurants put a glass of tap water on the table the moment I sit down. I must have turned into a Princess over the years because I NEVER drink it. I really dislike the taste.
      It’s EVIAN all the way for me!!!!
