Do you actually think about these scenarios in game or just autopiloting?
I always think about all of these things and try to tell others my thoughts so we can throw around ideas on voice, I'm more of an analytical and macro based player though.
Even if you auto pilot you will get better at it if you at the said points of vision - or lack of vision you force yourself to "pause" and try to think "what should I do", eventually you can almost autopilot the calls without having to "pause"

Since this vid is about Challenger players answering questions.... I think I can answer this question, these scenarios are retarded and ever answer will almost differ based on: buff duration, health, runes, items, towers, team comp(if you have varus you can have mega poke or dps), reset timers, sum cd, vision, and more
So to answer the question: you should think because the more you think, the less you have to think later

@@PsychoKern The TP one fucked me up.. lol. I've never heard of my team disengaging a fight even with the TP coming in, they will try to kill as many as possible quickly to even the playing field once the TP comes through. So I would probably just cancel the TP and look to TP in a later fight while the Riven's is down. I don't think the answer they chose is correct for 99% of players.
because the most of the questions are bulshit man. they should make lane specific q sets and then see what is what. not all chall players play all roles but tthey still are chall.

Yes, but in bronze the mid laner would keep pushing and be totally unaware of Graves' location despite numerous pings and will probably get ganked and spam "jgl diff" in chat.

For the example at 8:00 Little tip guys, if you hover towards the side enemy jungler is, you can waste his time, by giving him the impression he can lv2/3 gank you. This is kinda risky but it becomes free if you have vision on your opponent. Also depending on the enemy jungler ( if he is a lv 2 ganker like shaco/j4 etc), you can save wards by predicting their movement. Moreover, many junglers actually skip the ward shown here by just flag and draggin over the nash pit or other dash champs in order to steal enemy blue buff ( Champions like : Shaco/ Jarvan4/ Kindred / Ekko/ Khazix/ ...). If you can track the enemy jgl effectively, you can save wards that you can put later on in paths the enemy jgler will need to take in order to gank the side he will be on 20/30sec later. ( For example at the intrance from the river to the redside bluebuff ) Essentially rendering them useless until your first back, on which you will be able to afford a Pink Ward in order to make their life even harder. Don't forget to set this pink ward on a spot you are sure it will save/reveal someone, since it will be your only help in the next minutes since you just reset ( and maybe even used TP). After your first reset, your next wards should be used to control objectives instead of assuring your own safety, unless the enemy assassin jungler is fed. Tell me what you think.
Scenario 1 didnt mention that Graves doesnt have his second smite for the contest of scuttle. You cant know for sure if the enemy jungler still has the smite or not, contesting the scuttle might win you huge tempo but if they have the smite while you just used it 20 seconds ago on the other scuttle, you lose the tempo.
Yeah I stopped after the first question because of this. I imagine choice a nets you a loss because you just used smite so it’s half the time a loss since your smite is down for sure and his can be up. Having information on graves running straight up from bot while you’re positioned near mid bush with no vision on you while mid is relatively nearby should be a kill on graves once he paths into you guys
???? It doesn't matter if he has smite or not. He doesn't have flash and your mid + top have full priority. If graves even comes near that topside scuttle crab he dies because your mid and top collapses. Why does him having smite even matter at this point?

My ideal is to try and collapse on him on what he does, choice B is the closest but choice A just pushes him into his jungle and off the crab. The smite is relevant because in choice A you contest it. As they point out choice A being correct, they show a clip of sylas doing crab and graves being in smite range while we know sylas doesnt have smite. If the clip legit happened then graves smites the crab and he wins. Thats why smite matters? Cause he gets the last hit = him getting gold and scuttle vision
@@smither1mina They just chose a bad clip. If the scenario were to play out Graves would fall behind since he goes topside and gets nothing. He wouldn't even be able to come close to the crab let alone smite it. You gnar will come down instantly and Syndra naturally pushes in the Diana. Since Graves is flashless. Option B is nothing similar to what i said. Baiting out a transition gank would be to catch him mid lane when he's rotating top. A 2v2 is risky early but a 3v2 isn't since you have the topside priority advantage.
@@juneoh21 You cant say that syndra naturally pushes since they give us a stalemate mid. My reading of option B is to have sylas wait mid and collapse on graves with syndra when graves passes mid. It works since graves is flashless, legit should be a win scenario. Enemies have no information on sylas while sylas has information on graves being river heading mid. Graves wouldnt contest top scuttle if he has no flash and gnar is pushing him, A results in graves going into his jungle and sylas just securing crab, rather than an easy kill working around vision information

I look at the minimap all the time, but we have no wards, so it didn't matter and got murdered several times until I´ve got reported for inting.

You will get better at doing it as you climb.
A lot of these options rely on your team mates actually being ready and aware to assist you when you make the “correct” decision.

As a challenger player myself, I would highly suggest not to stress about your game decisions as this could potentially limit your play. Besides this, not all scenarios can go as planned, someone will fuck up. In this game, its either leave it or make it.
Being up to date with champions and items strength is invaluable, but these scenarios videos are the ones that are most inspire me to think deeper about the game. Elo Hell is anywhere a player is stuck thinking they make no impact on the game, but it's always caused by the lack of asking themselves these types of question that put all the players and the whole map in the same context. Keep these videos coming.
To me some of these decisions would be a lot easier with additional context. For instance, in the first scenario: What do the health bars & mana pools of the mid laners look like? What summoners did they take? Does Diana have ignite and syndra Teleport or vice versa? What runes did they each take? Does Syndra have glacial augment or electrocute? Did diana take Conqueror or Electrocute? What are the health bars of the junglers? What runes do they have? Did the Sylas take waterwalking? If so and the graves doesnt have sorcery as a tree then thats a decent advantage that would help sylas stay on him/kill him faster. What about levels? Is one marginally a level up on the other? There's so many things that if leaned in my favor id pull the trigger on but without that information its likely easier to take a safer option
yeah well i guess for the first question if you go top side and to get scuttle graves can easily press tab see that you have 12cs and that you came with red buff only and came from top side to get that scuttle which will alert him that your bot side camps are up and he will go to take them and there my friend you gave graves and experience and cs lead, with his bot lane being just ganked and so has the upper hand, your bot cant protect your jungle.
Then you take his top side camps. If he started topside then those camps will be respawning and you'll be ahead by a lot. Enemy top + mid can't collapse on your invade because they have no priority against their counterparts. If Graves' topside camps are level 1 then you'll still be ahead since you have 2 more scuttles than him

If you're gonna bust out the fake options be prepared for scenario rebuttals. :3 For example the ideal scenarios as Rengar/Gragas/J4 are contingent upon proper rotation of your teammates. If they don't rotate answer D is right for all 3 champs. 0.o Put out some more of these please! Very informative.
First "correct answer" logic is bad because Zirene says we showed earlier, but that wasn't mentioned at all? If you can catch the Graves not knowing that you know where he's going to be, landing CC to kill the no flash Graves is plenty likely to work. A is also a questionable answer because you smited bot side crab for the kill (why smite an uncontested crab for any other reason than clear speed?) and you might not have it back off cooldown and Graves might still have his smite.
Scenario 4 is just a bad question because firstly, when would everyone be at the exact same level of completed items and secondly, who's the one actually doing more of the work? If they're barely escaping because the front line is holding your team off, Lucian. If they're barely escaping because your burst isn't enough to finish them in a single rotation, LeBlanc.
These videos never give all the necessary information that would be apparent to someone actually in this game state in order to make the "correct" decision.
Yeah, I feel like they also left out important info about the matchup on number 4. IIt really depends on the enemy team comp. Not knowing anything else, Rabadon's is the best option, but if the enemy team is full of juggernauts, Botrk would be the answer. If the enemy team has too many tanks, Black Cleaver would be the correct answer.
Pillar Riven (remember to flash mastery* to make them angrier and hopefully dumb), go back to turret to bait her interrupting your teleport? Then you either have a fight with a ridiculously strong advantage and plates or you have a team fight with strong advantage that you can transition to a dragon objective. Where they have no priority to contest.

A) depends on having smite advantage, which isn't specified but assuming the timing graves's smite should be up with yours down, meaning it's uncontestable (from what I understand).
D) also basically concedes your raptors to graves.
Well I kinda get these questions right except for the Trundle vs Riven TP scenario. I chose A, cause she just started tping so Trundle can land some aa and Q, after he can just cancel Riven's tp with 1/4 health so that's really likely that u win 1v1 afterwards.
Also at the upgrade scenario I was like w8 LB has a deathcap, why not is that in the options but whatever let's just go for the Luden's anyway cause she can deal insane amount of dmg while she is hard to lock down.

i do not agree with the xin, oriana, zoe solution. i think its to dangerous to go to those raptors to ward at that time, if xin is clearing raptors or coming to gank already or he could be even in that bush (xin ganks early sometimes) you could get knocked up and zoe bubbled. on a lisandra or something safer i would consider it.

Only one you got me with is the LeBlanc one. I figured upgrading Lucian's botrk is much bigger than upgrading rabadon's considering how huge bot diff can make or break a game.

Great idea for a series. You can't give an 'if' in the answer though. Assuming none of your team will die and always disengage successfully seems a reach and need to be in the question / info really
for question 1 A and B aren't mutually exclusive right? you can look if you are needed for a countergank mid while transitioning towards the top side scuttle
The biggest fail in these questions is as always the specific situation. It counts on how much HP, which abbilitys are still up/which are not and, and, and,... ongoing. And about our Trundel TP... How about moving a little bit back after stopping Rivens TP. If you manage to get in time under the turret (again the situation) you can TP relaxed. If she dares to dive you then to stop you, punish her for trying. But again... All about the specific situation. So in general cool idea but it's wrong to say those are the proof ur rdy for high elo if you got the right amswer. Plus whats about the team... Solo Queue means your most likely on your own (getting worse as lower your elo is andb"better" as higher it is).
How about moving a little bit back after stopping Rivens TP - Fight will be over, and it will be too late

You're right about starting on their blue rather than your own. However, judging by where the olaf is on the map, the laners would take too long to get there and also your mid laner's wave would be ruined.

Wait I need further explanation about scenario one. You showed that Diana and Syndra were even in lane and Sylas was near river entrance brush. How would he go to the other side without either ganking mid to give prio or without running back into the Graves? Unless I'm taking this to literal in the example shown but there was only two routes the Sylas could've gone...
I only got the torn question wrong. I said j4 because of the “the enemy keeps getting away with 1hp” statement. I was thinking that means that lb and Lucian were lacking dmg and weren’t capable of finishing. So, I would give j4 some extra dmg, since he starts the fight, to eliminate then enemy’s getting away because u needed just a little more dmg output.
The main issue I had with these questions was that I picked the correct answer the only problem was I could not arrive at these conclusions easily in game. I would pick the choices that were similar but not quite right.
I got Six out of Nine. The reason I say that is because I missed the cheeky trick question about ornn upgrades(though I was happy to learn that), and I missed Rengar and Gragas versus Olaf Because Olaf is the strongest Lvl1 Jungler and thought he could easily outduel all of them.
As an ADC main, getting all the others makes me feel pretty good about my understanding of the game though.

This is a suggestion. It would be cool if these kind of questions videos were focused on a specific role sometimes since maybe a main supp just doesn't know that well what to do as a toplaner and viceversa

there's a problem on scenario no.4 doe. we don't know what's the whole scenario like what if the enemy team is focusing on leblanc, like building MR, prioritizing on killing LB first. I MEAN LIKE, there was a lot of possibilities.
That was honestly very fun to do. Even though some questions are ambiguous only to make sure people don't give the right answers. I got 4,75/7 myself because of this (3/4 last scenario, wrong on the ornn and the xin zhao ones, I only paused during the last one because three scenarios in ten seconds is kinda rough ngl)
You don't tell us we can answer out of the box, or answer for multiple cases (even though it seemed obvious). We'll be aware of this at least if you upload another one :P
Also on the Xin one, I'm a bit confused watching Xin doing Red Raptors when he's facing rammus. I'd personally ward earlier to make sure tatoo doesn't get his topside stolen. I ended up being wrong because my mind was entirely focused on that factor lmao. And even though what the hell is this unhealthy Xin route haha

These were very useful to think about - but I'd prefer if they were restricted to one answer and no trick questions. More detail around what you think your allied players are doing. e.g. You see a late invade from Shen + Olaf _and call for your top who begins making his way down_. What is the correct answer for *each* of these three champions. That way you are really thinking about the scenario rather than am I being tricked?
Question 4 is a toss up. Yes Leblanc will have more burst potential, but it also depends what enemies your up against. Say if you are against a very beefy tanky anti AP composition, then I would think you would want to upgrade the Lucians item for more sustained tank killing damage in team fights and skirmishes. Great questions. Although it was unclear you wanted 3 answers for each shown champ for question 7.

Im D1 adc EUW. I got 6 out of 7 but for some questions, I really had to think a lot and consider all scenarios and outcomes. I could never do that ingame... I screamed at my desktop the rabadons on question number 4 xD nice video with a lot of effort. The last question was hard. maybe not so much if you main jungle-

Situation 6 I think correct answer should be D. Wave isn't important as the dragon soul, they could camp in the middle brush. Just jungler must use sweeper. Enemies can shove the wave, and with dragon soul they would be a lot stronger.
I think usually for the last question it would be better to wait till they start the buff and use their cool downs (for rengar)

For scenario 2 wouldn't the enemy bot lane just hard shove after you recall and take tower while you're getting rift herald?
Got everything right except for the Sylas jungle question, I chose D instead because I thought I've already used my smite for the bot scuttle and I don't have much experience in Sylas jungle that's why I'm scared of contesting against jungler that can easily kite you. Also, I'm scared that Diana might notice what Syndra is going to do and follow her.

Scenario 2.
Assuming that we're playing solo queue here, recalling for herald isn't always the right choice. (depends on elo bracket)
If we would be below D4 in this situation, you should not have that much trust in your teammates. By getting the herald the most amount of gold that YOU will get is around 300-400 assuming that you got the 1st turret off that play. Meanwhile in bottom lane the enemy either continues the freeze and gets around 3 waves for the same 400 gold. The difference here is that they also get XP, roughly equivalent of a kill that is. If they decide to break the freeze and push, they will most likely get the same amount of gold and XP + some turret plates. Overall YOUR side of the trade was definetly nonbeneficial. If you're actually high-elo though you should be able to place some trust in your team to take advantage of the turret lead.
The turret lead isn't necessarily always a good thing though, since this allows the enemy top laner for a possible freeze. And that freeze would be a painful one, since it would leave you so far up the lane.
As with the first video of this same topic, we need more information. (Flex full premade? Low elo? Clash? Duo?)
Some of these depend if u are in low or high elo. For example in low elo it would be better to cancel rivens tp.

@@falkfink i would still say botrk to be honest, because you have a jarvan e that makes you as an adc have more attack speed and there is a blackcleaver in the game again making you deal more damage

Not even factoring the fact that she could miss them. Meanwhile the buff provided by botrk is used every auto so to me that is the most viable cause you can't miss autoattacks right? RIGHT?
For myself I will always upgrade adc first
1. always go for double crab
2. never go under turret on early lane phases and play on objectives
3. when your team is safe forget them its free lane

Wait, I have one question. Why is Rabadons's > BORK with the Ornn upgrade?
9:40 Xin Zhao really can't clear raptors efficiently before level 3, so a full red clear shouldn't be a concern. After red clear, he can take Krugs, gank, invade, or transition to blue side.
1st question [correction]: sylas helps mid to push in quickly for prio while top starts to path towards river. If graves is taking scuttle he will meet your top and start to back off down the river. Sylas and syndra will path up river and meet graves for 3v1. Without mid prio you risk losing the 2v2 before top can path in time.
2nd question [false]: get a deep ward and try spot rammus and break freeze asap and go base. Enemy will either try to push in and you come back for the bounce and potentially freeze on your side or they will match your reset in which wave will reset. Call jg to meet you bot and you can look to gank frozen lane or drag. If u go for herald you will lose 4 waves and drag if rammus is botside. If rammus topside you lose 4 waves and 2 plates.
3rd question: fine
4th question: fine
5th question: fine
6th question: fine
7th question: if youre already blue side then go blue straight to their red. Then decide depending on where olaf is pathing but basically just vertical jungle and gank bot or mid. If you are red side then call top and mid to 3v2 them at your red.

@@serenamirabelleguinto3387 I'm trying my best, but I just dont really trust my Teammates. It's also probably because I only play draft and never played with people with high ranks. If i knew that i played with high elo player (Or at least with people with good understanding and awarness of the game i wouldve tired to contest the scuttle.

It’s easier to think about these if you pause the video and aren’t in game but when In game, its a lot harder to make these decisions
One question about scenario 6. Couldn't the enemy team ambush me and my team from different directions just like in a game of SKT (I think it was skt) where their enemy was doing that and SKT ambushed them from different directions thus demolishing them and winning the game?

I'm silver 1 100lp and I only got the soul point one wrong. In my opinion the best thing for that one would be to start pushing top, so the enemy have to answer me and then tp down, since I obviously saved my tp for the drake. (But the question wasn't specific enough in my opinion)

A lot of these questions are very dependant on what comp you have and if your carries are doing well tho.

My lane gets frozen because my support didn't help me push the wave, then run backs to lane and stay zoned out while spam pinging me as to wtf i'm doing ganking mid lol.

I can't recall ever seeing a bot lane rotate to take herald during a freeze in a ranked game this season. I am only Gold 2 though so maybe that explains it.
Idk about scenario 2 cuz one of the korean teams in LCK lost a game with this tactic. That was the main reason why they lost, cuz aphelios got like 2k lead in 10 min.

One of them I got wrong genuinely, and the LeBlanc question I got right just because I was an idiot and didn’t pay attention to which item I was upgrading for her as my option.
scenario: you are melee top againts ranged and shoved under turret with lvl 2
your mid is even and both midlaners can roam
your jungler gragas is contesting top scuttle againts enemy lee sin.
a) you roam, lose 2 minion waves and contest while being 1 lvl behind and die
b) you farm under turret and then enjoy laning vs range top with double buffs
c) you spam ping your jungler to fall back which he doesnt do and donates doubles anyway
d) educate your jungler about lane priority then open top and qq under your pillow
scenario 5 what if he doesnt do a full redside clear and goes red to blue side? then whats the point of hugging right and warding left?

No the important thing at the Ornn question is : How fed is your team because a 0/18 Lb doesn't need the upgrade but a 24/1 Lucain needs it.

I mean, dude, in a game I was trashing the enemy mid laner, and the enemy shen supp ulted him (he doesnt have tp), the decision of my botlane was to come mid and help me instead of pushing bot (I was a 3/0 pantheon full health, enemy was veigar almost death)
What can you do whe your teammates make such decisions and end up throwing the game :/
I honestly think Question 3 is debatable. The enemy team has enough damage and CC to make a dive work, especially due to Riven's interferance. On a 4V5 situation, your team doens't have enough peel to make a dive unfavorable. And the results from a at least decent dive can be devastating to your team if Dragon is up, with 0 ways to contest it. Besides, in SoloQ, while communication is good, it's not reliable, leading into people not paying attention, especially on lower elos. So while D is a good option, A is a safer option, especially considering that Trundle is an excellent duelist and, while it doesn't lead into bigger gains, it also stops the enemy team from a complete domination.
4 is also heavilly debatable. While the "trick" is a dick move, the answer should be "the one that's doing the best in the game". OK, you gave the upgrade to LeBlanc's Rabadon, but she's getting caught on the teamfights, and being pelled out from the enemy's ADC. Meanthile, J4 and Lucian are doing well enough on the game, with you and J4 engaging well and Lucian blasting the frontline. Then it should depend if the enemy team has high armor and low health or if J4 is only barely killing with a combo rotation or if the enemy team has more HP or if J4 is either dying after the engage or doesn't have enough damage to kill, which case Lucian's BotRK should be the choice.
it'll be difficult to answer all this questions because players focus on their own roles, I'm a support and mid main so i would not know what action the jungle or the top lane would take during these scenarios. so yeah it'll be hard to answer all of them right, and how do you even know that all challengers knows what to do in this scenarios. its just sad that non challenger players are being put down in a way because we don't know what to do in those moments because we're not challenger players
