- We had just four and a half days to get this stretched out Peterbilt 389 ready to hit the highway in style. Follow along and watch us get this beauty ready to roll. This truck is a 2022 Peterbilt 389 with a 72in standup sleeper, 315in wheelbase, 565hp/2050tq Cummins and an 18 speed trans!

Since the new def tank is bigger I think you guys should order all your 389s with twin (matching parallel) fuel tanks and the def mounted behind them.

I’m not a trucker , I’m just curious , what’s the advantage of stretching out the unit if you ain’t gonna make a bigger sleeper ? Nonetheless it still looks badass , maybe that’s why and I can accept that , beautiful truck !
Looks cool, and rides smoothly down the road with the longer wheelbase. In some instances a person could have a load with some forward overhang, having a longer wheelbase helps for that as well.

These seats were ordered with the truck. But there are several places you can order them.

Are y’all going too move that plug from under the sleeper? I can’t picture him reaching it once the drop panels get installed.
It’s actually pretty easy to get to, this is where the customer wanted it.

Why does it bug me so much that the quarter fenders don’t match the curvature of the tires they cover?

beautiful work. question is the fithwheel plate not slideable? and curious with the straight pipe ends what is best way for clearing the pipe if it has sat not running and it rains? or do u just blow it all out when u start up?
The 5th wheel is fixed, this customer always pulls the same trailer and doesn’t need a sliding 5th wheel. As far as the straight cut pipes, if it’s active exhaust the engine will blow out the excess water and if it’s a dummy exhaust the water just runs out the other end.
Or go old school, put a 5 gallon bucket on top

He plans to that along with a lot of other stuff with the truck once he gets it back home
Truck look nice, just one mistake, that ain't no exhaust system, that's decorations/dummies ( 🤮 ), an exhaust system is used to guide reaction exhaust gases away from a controlled combustion inside an engine or stove... I believe the 389 will be an automatic as well soon... 🤔

I love trucks and I love truckin but man… you get on the road and get working and it’s just hell. Hard on your body. Never home. I wish it wasn’t like that. I wish you could work at a normal life pace and not be working to death all the time just to stay profitable.
