If you actually think about the whole Zoey being clueless about the mal situation it’s cause that Mike was Zoey’s first serious relationship and vice versa she was clueless because she didn’t think that the love of her life would ever be evil so when she found out she was naturally shocked and when everyone said that Mike was gone she was reasonably sad. I you start to think about what I said it’s really sad and dark. Zoey really doesn’t deserve the hate she gets from fans
