Just a preference: you could use it as a base for you actual art style, and use references of anatomy to get portions down, that’s something I do when I use it for my comics because then you can figure out sizes of you character to different shapes ya want and height and it’s good reference on what you want your characters to be doing, like if your drawing out your comic on paper it makes it much easier 🤗

I just started my own webtoon gotta say my arts looks like a 5 year old drew it, and i dont know why but it takes me hours to finish one page with like aversge 3 small panels, like its 20 min to create the panels and what shapes and where they go, then its like 5 min sketch what will be in the panel for each, then its like 30-40 min on inking cause im a perfectionist and as im inking and adjusting things so constant ling and earsing the same spot til it looks okay. Color takes me about an hour 2 at most depends if im having trouble finding the color and what things need to be color. What takes the most is my goddamn backrounds, my ipad is old so i cant get most drawing apps and the one i have has the worst blending tool ever so it takes me a good 30 minutes to blend out a good gradient backround, its takes me only 5 min if its a simple no blending backround, then shading and highlights are pretty quick usually 10-15 min for all, lastly are the speach bubles those take me around 20 minutessince i hand draw them and i always want them to look perfect so thats an issue. My real problem though is how many breaks and for how long i take. My art style is like chibi ish but not really, its like cheap knock off poorly made chibi and my story is grabage its so cringey, but honestly im still going to keep at it, i know no one is going to like the story or art but i think im mainly doing this comic for myself and using it as a way to slowly atart introducing myself into art again after like a year break from it. Its like its slowly helping me sketch again and understand anaotomy a bit more. Although i really do wish i had a better art style but i just cant seem to do it
You should try ibis paint or medibang aswell its very helpful! Im starting my own webtoon soon aswell with ibis paint! But seeing this video and how you do it is also very helpful since i will be doing it on a tablet/iphone 😂❤️🥰 BIG FAN BTW ❤️

@@Ennik1 i ended deciding to draw in a chibi style, its pretty easy and it doesnt look half bad. My problem now is that it looks so good on paper but very sloppy digitally
DanDaMan you should try sketching/inking on pencil, scanning it with your phone, and coloring digitally, that’s what I did when I was getting the hang of digital art

Well you could Write your script, timeline, and a very simple thumbnails (story board) so you have that work out done so you can start working when your confident in your art skills.
I already used that app poser, it's great and very helpful but I download it on my phone HAHAHAHA but the longer I use the poser it makes my phone overheat HAHAHAHA
This came out really swell its very helpful I started doing that 3 years ago and it was awesome till someone told me it was like cheating then that was the end of poser for me lol😇

Try sketchup, and if it looks too much like a model rather than a webtoon background, try messing with color tones. You can get an angle you want and screenshot it, it is also helpful to use 3d assets

{Dyn LPS} I work with 800x40,000 pixels, 350dpi and I use Croppy to crop it to the size Webtoon requires

A tip for me too! Try to do the pose yourself or have a friend help you pose with your other character and capture that moment. Idk it works for me

You creat two layers, on the first import the image and on the second do the sketch and then delete of hide the first layer 😙
