I’m so glad this bumper has the side-marker delete. Those side-markers are a pain in the ass bcuz they come loose if u hit a pothole or drive against the wind
I’m currently installing the Lexus bumper on my frs and omgeee I’m having the same issue with it not fitting flush. I’m gonna try your ideas tomorrow morning and hope for the best 🤞😅
Thanks to Everyone that's been wathcing and following along with the build series so far, following the story of my Rocket Bunny V2 Toyota GT86 and keeping up with the upcoming LS3 Engine Swap! It really means alot! and if you did enjoy this video please make sure to subscribe and perhaps leave a like or comment! Even constructive criticism is more than welcome!
@@afarrel3195 i don't think so. I believe the V3 bumper has the wide arch extensions moulded in to it so there's no way to fit it without the rest of the kit
Put a riv-nut in to the brackets that hang off the inside of the bumper and then bolted it to where the front fenders mount at the front of the car. Other than that the front arch extensions are bolted to the wide arches themselves and that adds an extra mounting location too
@@slmemocastro7270 It is a authentic RB front bumper, I don't have a link i'm afraid as I bought the full kit. I don't think you'll have any major fitment issues at all with the bumper alone as it fits very well although you'll have to find a way to attack it to the front wings at the sides as of course the standard plastic clips need to be removed to fit it.
The original bumper clips? No, the rocket bunny bumper doesn't have anything for them to clip in to, but other than that i'm using as much of the existing brackets as I can, the only thing I added to the bumper was a couple of rivnuts to connect it to the front fenders.
That’s poor build quality by the body kit manufacturer considering how much it costs in my opinion. Looks like you’ve added teeth to the smile with that crash bar showing. Is there no grill options?
The kit comes with a mesh grille for the bumper and there's a few other aftermarket options as well. I'll add it but i'd rather do that after i've had the kit wrapped or painted. Yeah parts like this are always funny when it comes to investment vs quality. The liberty walk spoiler i have was crazy expensive but the quality is really minimal whereas another spoiler i had from the US was a fraction of the cost and incredible quality.
Just installing my v2 kit and you've solved every major issue ive come across thank you!
No worries at all! These videos are a couple of years old now but if you've got any questions feel free to reach out on instagram - @SamwiseEXCL

This is fantastic!
Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the finished project!
Thanks a bunch!
Great video, keep it up!
Thanks!

Hey mate just a quick question will it fit on with out the widebody fenders?
Yes, absolutely!
The bumper from the V2 kit is designed to work with a stock body car as well as the widebody fenders. However the V3 is not.
can you install the bumper only without installing front fender? i really liked the kit but i dont want to cut the fender
If you mean installing the bumper only on a stock car without the widebody fenders then yes, the V2 bumper is designed to also work on its own.
@@SamwiseEXCL what about the v3 bumper will it fit with stock fender?

@@SamwiseEXCL ohh ok thank you
I know this is 2 years old. But if you see this, how did you attached the bumper to the side of the fenders?

Is this the authentic RB bumper ? And Do you have the link to this bumper?
I’m trying to run the RB front bumper without going wide body & I wanna know if I’ll run into any fitment issues before buying it

Are u using the brakets or no ?

What wheels are those???
They're Work Meister M1's. I have a video talking all about them on my channel you should check out!
