A trip to St. Alban's (England). Luckily, there was a charity event for the restoration of the organ when we went there, and so the organ was played. The music in this video is a recording from that day.
@ds1868 Yes I think this clip is suffering from the recording equipment and the usual TH-cam compression, taking the edge off it. I have heard the organ recently in the Cathedral and it is wonderful. I wish they would hurry up and complete the nave section, it will help with assisting the singing.
Not sure if it's the quality of the recording (as it does sound good anyway) but there is a strangely 'synthetic' timbre to the organ as it stands here post-restoration. Not as it sounded before, although I do like the cymbelstern tinkling away at the end (another add-on). Thanks for posting.
