as much as people hated this episode, it was one of my favourites, i loved how out of nowhere it was and how it was NOTHING like the episodes before it, i love this show 😭😭
MASON!!!!
This show is one if the greats✨🙌
x2 was incredible
Man you are EVERYWHERE I see when it comes to Sonic content.
Knuckles was amazing
I still can't believe Iblis is cannon in the movie Universe. In the games Iblis can not truly be defeated, so I imagine it's still in a dimension out there.
If I remember correctly some people say Iblis is hiding within Knuckles so maybe at the end of Sonic 3 in a post credit scene we see Iblis get out of Knuckles’s body almost like a demon being brought out after a exorcism, but we will have to wait and see if they make that plot point come true.
@@keterthecrownedone9912or at the very least see Mephilis appearing.
Episode 4: The Flames of Disaster is the funniest episode I've ever seen.
@@kevin_kevinson yeah most certainly was my least favourite, not sure about the most funny lol
@@kevin_kevinsonlet people have opinions geez
Is true ❤
I love knuckles
Hahahaha to be funny, I have to make the whole episode a musical
I know people knock this episode for its lack of Knuckles, but this whole segment made it one of my favorite episodes
Same
He was great as knuckles
I liked it becuz it cleverly makes you think that Wade is the only focus when it isn't. We literally get an origin story of Knuckles and meet the Elder. Although, I would like to see an actual sequence dedicated to that in full detailed, but I digress.
@@Reader999 agreed
@@Reader999 If we ever get a bigger budget for a Knuckles season 2 or something, I'd love to see a CGI version of Knuckles' fight with Iblis
I can say this was a unique way of telling Knuckles backstory.
This episode was a drug trip... and I love it.
I love it
I don’t know why but when Wade said
“I will find the flames of disaster”
Was my favorite part.
Michael Bolton, that's why!
Adam Pally was awesome in this episode!
He was awesome throughout the entire show!🔥🙌
Same
They absolutely must've seen episode 4 kicking off on Twitter and just decided to drop this
Why do people say this episode doesn't have Knuckles in it? He's there for the whole musical!
The whole episode is just a musical fever dream lol, love wade and knuckles
Favorite episode in the series. It's so goofy and surreal
Honestly I could watch a whole mini movie on the making of flames of disaster
Unpopular opinion, but I really love it when the Sonic series leans into absurdist humor. AOSTH is great, and some of the funniest moments in Sonic Boom is when they just have some insane random stuff that no one expected. I think this is peak comedy for the franchise.
When it's done right yes absolutely
@@Laekith Which is not the case for this episode.
@@somisimons having The Lonely Island do it is the definition of doing it right
Wish I had a Knuckles costume like that.
This episode was Sonic Boom level bonkers but I loved it so much😂😂😂😂
Agreed
Like I understand people being disappointed with Knuckles getting less focus than Wade, but this episode alone makes the show worth it to me for the sheer absurdity of it all.
The Flames of Disaster musical is the most creative thing i've seen in a videogame adaptation for years.
Like, im not the biggest fan of musicals, but making Wade experience Knuckles's story from his own eyes was an amazin choice.. He's meant to be the audience stand in, so learning it alongside him like this is perfect.
As a Theater Arts Studies major, I loved the whole production of flames of disaster! It was completely insane, out of the blue, and different. I especially loved the costumes and the huge monster puppet since I took a puppetry class. Puppetry is harder than it looks, also I appreciate all the work that went behind this production.
As a Cinema/TV/Radio major, I echo everything you just said! The creativity and talent on display here is outstanding!
This episode was one of the most funniest episodes I’ve ever seen, I never saw that in any series lol 🤣
I had no idea what was even happening!😭
@@liamphibiayou and me both
@@liamphibiasame lol 😂
This is probably my favorite episode tbh, because of the 06 reference
I was pleasantly shocked and excited to see it; I already heard of the “Flames of Disaster” but I thought they just gave it that name as a reference. I didn’t know Iblis would ACTUALLY be there!! 😄
Glad you all established about this episode in particular, despite that most people didn't like it, along with a bit of errors(like Knuckles was fighting alongside his father, when Movie 2 showed that Knuckles stayed behind when his father and the rest of the tribe left).
I loved the knuckles series i hope they make a season 2
Cough
I'd prefer a Chaotix Detective Series with Tom
I hope we get a Shadow show with a shadow the hedgehog cameo as well. It would be so good
I really want a Tails series after this, or a Shadow series
Nah, anything else about Knuckles they can explore in the movies themselves
It's a breath of fresh air to see this many practical effects utilized in a major Hollywood production. I love this series!
In his World…. Wade sees everything as a musical
In his world…. He sings like Michael Bolton
Episode 4 was one of the most wildest episodes and was just one long Big Lebowski reference turned into a musical number. Also, was not expecting Iblis to be in this episode and will be interesting to explore more of him in a future. Christopher Lloyd surprisingly worked quite well as Pachacamac and I want to see behind the scenes on him. I can tell they must’ve really went all on this episode.
I can see Adam Pally having so much fun on the stage😂😂
@@EdenLovesDragonsForSomeReason I remember the first time I heard Christopher Lloyd voice where he did Hacker from Cyberchase.
They literally didnt. Pac chief legit said its a "low budget rock opera" They did this play to save money
I don’t get why people hated this episode the most, I enjoyed the most actually! It was creative and despite being a bit not needed at the end of the day it was fun! The song was amazing, talented set. AMAZING! People gotta learn to appreciate things a lot more efficiently and to not have extremely high expectations. Those type of “sonic fans” murdered the show.
I LOVE THE KNUCKLES SERIES!!!!
I LOVE HOW RANDOM AND ABSURDLY FUNNY THIS EPISODE IS
The Title I get that's a reference to Sonic 06, Long live Sonic 06! 👏🏼😏🥳
This episode was peak comedy for this show. I'm happy this was made 😂
Either you hated Knuckles and this is your least favorite episode, or you loved knuckles and this is your favorite, there is no inbetween
True. I am the one who loved and THIS was my best episode and I give the show 9/10. If I had a child, I would give him to watch this instead of modern trash shows. It was a beautiful ride
One of the best parts of the show
Best scene in the entire sonic movie franchise ever
Lame show and Lame scene
@@alguienmasbruh695 we're not talking about your birth, here.
@@xenoemblem7 so original
The amount of work that must’ve gone into this. Great job everyone!
Finally, a behind the scenes of our favourite low budget rock opera.
probably the only time “looks like a lonely island music video” has been used as a compliment
I literally died laughing, I was soooooo shook
Well, Pachacamac has quite the sense of humor, I'll give him that. Also, kudos to Christopher Lloyd (aka Doc) for voicing the Chief
I’m not surprised Jorma Tacome directed this without insane this episode was 😭
People hated this episode?!??? This was the highlight of the entire show
This Episode Was Pretty Fun❤❤
I just finished the series and it's literally so enjoyable I watched all the episodes in just one sitting.
You KNOW they had so much fun maming this
This episode seriously rocked!!
I was very surprised they put the actual Flames of Disaster, also known as Iblis, in the show. And I thought it was just a reference until the actual demon appeared.
Good job.
I was waiting for a Ugandan knuckles joke with wade in that suit.
If you’re a fan of [adult swim] and ‘The Mighty Boosh’ then you probably enjoyed this episode. I’m one of those people.
My favorite Voice Actor
Adam Pally Is Best🔥🔥🔥🔥
Knuckles Wade: *takes down Iblis*
Silver: Wait, that's illegal
Wonder what kind of character Jorma Taccone is playing in Sonic Movie 3.🤔
Michael Bolton everyone
This is the reason why I like this episode so much, the music scenes
You all did a great job with this series⭐
Episode 4 is an acid trip in the best way possible.
How can people hate this show when the alternative would be a dry, soulless, and boring six episode watch about a b tier villain being defeated by knuckles. This show has its own personality, it’s separate from the movies and it’s proud of it, it has its own soul in a way.
“Fever dream come true!” That’s exactly how I put it! It was so bizarre and crazy, and I loved it! 😂😂😂
After sitting on this song for awhile (its surprisingly catchy) I just realized something...
The Flames of Disaster is incapable of speech, much less intelligence. The Iblis is from 06 which featured 2 notable villains, the other is capable of many things including using a computer and time travel. Technically everyone in 06 was capable of time travel but through the use of Chaos Emeralds.
If we're taking this song literally, this implies the existence of Mephiles, and we're being gaslit in the form of a musical to hide the existence of a potential third party in that fight.
Not everyone could use the Emeralds for time travel. Shadow was genuinely surprised when he saw Silver could do it
I guess I didn’t deeply consider the fact of Iblis _talking_ 😧 But yeah, if Mephiles DOES end up showing up, that is full hype 😄
I just want to know: why not put Wade in a flashback of baby Knux like this scene in My little pony season 4 where Twilight finds herself teleported into flashbacks of the past?
We could have had a song where Pachacamac explains to Wade everything his tribe and Knux have gone through. In addition to the flashbacks, we could have had Wade disguised as Knux at some point.
It wouldn't have been as much of a fever dream in that case. I feel like the punchline is that it's cringe even for Wade to the point he wants out of it ASAP
They had a lower budget than the films. They couldn't afford it.
This part was the best and it was so much fun! ❤️😂😎❤️🔥🍇👍🏿 Good job!
This episode was pretty much a litmus test in "how much campyness can you take?". :D
There’s good camp and there’s bad camp. Good camp is camp. Bad camp is simply trying to be camp but lacks the charm to be so. This is bad camp.
tf is camp
@@MrNintendoblocknah this is good
@@MrNintendoblock then kh is good camp
@@pascalfernandes6957 kh? You mean kingdom hearts? Yes that is in fact an example of outstanding camp
IS THAT IBLIS???
please have a 06 remake, I've been waiting something like this for YEARS
0:41 how did wade do this? The singing!!
Why is no one talking about how hard they went for this episode, the comedy, and the music it was so silly 😂
Glorious quest FOR GLOOOOOOREEEEEY!!!!
This guy was capping so much 😂
The scene is fun and everything, but what a bad way to tell Knuckles' past, a great way to develop it and he wasn't even there to show and tell it.
I love you Paramount
Rock’n’Roll!! 🎸😎👨🎤🔥✊
Honestly, this was my favorite episode because of how goofy it was
This episode was so funny 😂
I understand the plot of the show is somewhat misleading but in a way I like this show and episode 4 is cool 😎
The practical effects with the puppets is incredible!
God bless Jeff Fowler, Jorma Taccone, and The Lonely Island, and everyone else who worked on this. Best episode of the series by far.
This scene feels like it was inspired by a similar scene in Alan Wake 2.
But that can't be the case because of when the game released vs when production wrapped up for the show.
It's just...an incredible coincidence.
It was very odd how Knuckles talks about training Wade yet he NEVER does it in 6 episodes. Wade did it all by himself in a DREAM SEQUENCE. The direction of this show is so weird... Knuckles was a supporting character in his own show Dx
remember that one funny bowling scene in one of the first episodes where Knuckles threw the ball, pulling a strike without a second thought? i would've wanted to see him train Wade to get as strong as that, but *OHHH* well... ,'P
@@AltKaxREAL Exactlyy!
Without Knuckles this sequence wouldn't have happened
Wade and knuckles is a better duo than Tom and sonic, most funniest duo
This is amazing! Love seeing the behind the scenes. And now we know Pachacmac is an actor😂
How are you all so mature to criticize and comment on a show but not mature to understand that it is made for children???
i like this knuckles and wade since wade wanted to be strong hes strong
donut lord wanted a kid he got a kid (sonic)
now tails is who need ashow for and a season 2 of kuckles with some sick music i like how each ending to a episode had diffrent music loved it
@paramount Plus we need Season 2
Because this series
Is🔥🔥🔥, i love it! Is perfect.
using iblis like this was the biggest slap in the face ive ever recieved as a sonic fan man 😭😭😭
Why? He exists (existed?) in the movie-verse, I think that’s totally cool! So nice to see a solid mention of him after…almost 20 years? 😄
I like this episode for the acid trip it is, but not sure how I feel about Iblis being in Knuckles' backstory when in the games he's part of Silver's backstory and Knuckles and Silver practically never interact in Sonic '06.
Fun fact. I saw Jorma Taccone in a Brooklyn Bar recently along with Karen Gillan, and I genuinely couldn't figure out who he was even tho he looked familiar, so I ignored him and got a pick with Karen instead. I am incredibly upset by this.
I loved this episode .
*It was here i understood what this show is. A STONER COMEDY. Lets take the lore of Knuckles and GO NUTS.*
The fact that this is technically the first live action debut of *f-cking Iblis* is wild. 💀
Jajajaja amé este capítulo por lo bizarro que fue el musical jajaja.
Por favor, que en una temporada 2 haya un musical como este y sea de los Chaotix
look this series is far from what i wanted out of a knuckles show but i genuinely actually really loved this episode. sonic shows really need to have more musical numbers in them like this one had imo
Well I just really don’t want them to make Sonic 3 a musical
@@EdenLovesDragonsForSomeReason i understand that but i mean idk. if the musical numbers are far more serious than this one was and as long as there arent too many musical numbers in movie 3 (basically yeah dont make it a full on musical) i wouldnt mind. thats just me tho.
ive always felt that sonic media outside of the games hasnt really ever had any songs id go back and listen to over and over
@@EnderCatCore Have you seen Sonic Underground? It’s a completely different canon I know but there are some not half bad songs
It was my fave episode
I just wish the climatic bowling game had this videogame vibe
It would help this show feel more worthy of something based on the Sonic games
There are plenty of valid criticisms of this show and its budget, and we should 100% voice them in good faith to paramount. That said, I couldn’t help but love this episode and it’s Lonely Island energy.
This episode was really creative honestly, it may have been “different” than usual but it’s goofy at least lol
It is peak fiction.
Michael Bolton: This is the Tale of Knuckles the Echidna....
Jorma: Michael Bolton I really need you to focus up
This one is my favorite
I loved this episode ❤
I Guess Cinematic Universe Knuckles Knows DA WAE
I think this episode is the best part of the whole live action Sonic series tbh
Only true sonic fans don't complain about knuckles not being in the show that much 🗿
Minus Christopher Lloyd is Knuckle’s Great Grandfather made it better…this is just a fever dream with mass hysterical laughter
As that for quest should been im watching knuckles series with so been like behind tv spot ❤ 😋 thank you form knuckles trailer episode 5 leaks ❤
