Toyota Camry Hybrid launched in India in 2013 and Honda Accord Hybrid launched in 2016. Its not new tech. But very pricey. Both launched above 35lakh price range. Now it was launched in below 20 lakhs price range. Prices will still come dearer to us in future. We are in evolution phase now. I will wait next five years to change my car to either electric or hybrid based on current trands at that time.
Just 24Lacs.. so inexpensive ;)
Note:
It’s only beneficial for city driving.. battery gets charged only in city traffic. If you mostly drive on highways, you can’t really use the hybrid feature. Buy regular city if you drive mostly on highways
Wrong statement. It has enough power to drive anywhere. The car is capable to switch between the 3 modes - electric, hybrid and engine.
@@nagarjunayt Explain me, how does battery get charged on highway when you are cruising at fixed speed?
@@RK-hv2dh My point is about your statement "It's only suitable for city driving". There's no real choice for us as a driver to choose which mode it operates while driving. It switches automatically from one to another. You can check a video made on this vehicle for a fuel efficiency test where it involved city and highway driving to understand the different modes it switched to. I'll try posting the link here.

My point is, HEVs are for people who drive majorly in city traffic. Why spend extra 5-6 lacs if one mostly drives on highway
@@RK-hv2dh agree on the price part of it. Even I was excited when the vehicle was announced and now in a total dilemma if spending those extra few lakhs is worth. It's definitely not in the affordable range.

Car technology is really awesome but on road price comes around 24 lakhs a little bit high but it's a really worth of buying in this present scenario I prefer to buy this rather than Mahindra xuv700 which have same features .. let's hope i want to own this car as soon as possible
