To add on to what another commenter said, I also recommend the episode with G.O.D. They're a first generation kpop boy group who are actually IU's idols (you could say her bias group) growing up. The episode is an hour of IU just straight up fangirling. The covers are also amazing (some of the best in Palette, in my opinion).
Since people recommend IU with her bestie and her bias group, there is also IU with her big fangirl (Sejeong - solo singer, ex-girlgroup IOI member, IOI is temporary group), IU with Cho Jungseok (actor, her partner when she got her first main role and helped her in acting world to this day), but well, all IU's Palette episodes are interesting, even with guests I am unfamiliar with, IU will make it familiar and as long as it's IU, it's fun. Oh, and IU will never leave anyone behind. If it's group guests, she will make sure everyone has chance to talk.
This is so true. The ones I look forward to oddly are actually ones with artists that are new to me. Especially when it comes to the covers (color switch), it's just a nice change of pace to hear IU sing different kinds of songs, as well as hear IU songs sung by artists I'm not that familiar with. And IU has become really good at immediately building chemistry with every guest.
I know you'll probably gravitate towards episodes with guests youre familiar with but i also recommend checking out her episode with yoo inna! They are well known besties in the industry & you'll definitely see more of her personality. There are 2 parts to the episode
AKMU episode is a lot of fun to watch too, as you already see a glimpse of the quirky choreos Chanhyuk did 😂 Suhyun (the female singer), imo has one of the best vocals in kpop.
