I agree with the point about replayability. I think this game mode would've been much better if we could choose the starting characters we began with, and the "opening characters" were just characters that were available with a trial. Starting off this game mode with a certain set of characters greatly restricts what teams you can play, which is why even though there were more than 4 characters I knew you'd inevitably pick a wanderer team with kuki and thoma (I did too!) Otherwise, though, I was surprised by how much fun I had in the event. It was really frustrating at first but once you understand the base strategy it offers a solid enough challenge. I think this event would be the most fun for dolphins or F2Ps who have a solid number of characters, though, and not much for anyone else--the newbies will have trouble collecting and building that many characters, and the whales will cheese through this event very easily. I also like the character interactions they offer and the thespian tricks--its a minor award thats quite cute and memorable.
Also we cannot use 1 character party, we need to pick 4. Some stages could've been soloed (Arlec, Neuv). But putting trash teammate would increase risk in later stages since there is a chance you will have to use them with other characters. So in a sense, there are also wasted potentials there.
I cleared hard mode and while I had fun, I am not sure the randomness is doing them any favours. I even had to bring my naked Xiao, just because I would otherwise not even have enough characters for hard mode. This hard restriction really is too much, considering how long it takes to build characters in Genshin.
I actually enjoyed it despite it took me a while to get the hang of it 😅 It's refreshing that I don't need to play my highly invested teams like with Spiral Abyss (which can be repetitive) and tried out characters like Arlecchino and Clorinde as I skipped both of them.
Could only do up to normal because of lack of characters and even then my team was scuffed. I did act 6 with lyney, wanderer, electro traveler and yanfei c1. Lyney carried me so hard he deserves a reward

Having a gamemode that's not "good" because of bad replayability is surely just a content creator problem -- it's not the game's fault nor it matters much to the majority of players who have roster-ready accounts tbh It's not perfect, but it's serviceable as another end game content because it's different from spiral abyss
Me gustó el teatro, me parece "divertido" que a veces se formen equipos super randoms. El nivel de dificultad de los enemigos es sencillo, quiza la verdadera dificultad de este end game radica en tener una amplia variedad de personajes, lo cual no no me parece tan copado porque obliga a gente a buildear o sacar personajes que no quiere realmente. En mi caso desde siempre me gusta darle una build propia a cada pj que consigo así que no tuve inconveniente alguno jajks
I don't like how much I have to swap my artifacts around for this game mode... Especially since you have to pause it go out of the book to change artifacts. If theres a easier way to do it i'm missing it ^_^; Though I love the OST and designs of this mode though, it might be my favorite area in the game.
Tbh the thing that I hate bout this new content is that it resets every month… which makes it sit on the same thing whitout changing for a long time. It’s the first time in AGES that I’ve had a true fun in Genshin, where I enjoy to actually get the extra rewards and not just do the bare minimum… but resetting once a month seems so far away right now that makes me actually sad. I get that it’s for the primos and stuff, but I’d prefer for them to split the primogems in 2 events, so that abyss and theatre get to reset every 15 days like old abyss (even if it’s the same thing, idc, it’s just for that feeling that you have something to reach).
This game mode is... a bit of a mixed bag. Not terrible, but some ideas feel half-baked and other feel really clunky (almost like the clunky events they were ripped from). I just want Labyrinth Warriors return even more...
Nothingburger filler gamemode whose purpose is to give you primos and does nothing for endgame players that have run out of things to do outside of consuming resin endlessly.
I hate it. Forcing me to play characters I never want. At least there would be an easy fix to it. Make the starter characters optional. For me I will never touch it again. Also, I will never hyper invest via wishes in certain characters again. You wanted my money hoyoverse? Well, you lost it with this game mode!

When you talk about rng, its remind me of TCG. To be honest I love turn based game and the card aesthetics but the dice rng ruined everything.
