I remember moving onto campus for my first year at Edge Hill in 2019 🙊 I lived in Forest Court, Elm, loved every second of living there but we all got kicked out after 7 months cuz of covid. Had to terminate our contracts and hand in the keys march 22nd 2020. Hope you're enjoying your 1st year as much as possible even with covid!!
I finished my course at Edge Hill in 2020 but graduated last year due to Covid. Not a day goes by I don't miss it. I lived in back halls which has been knocked down I believe, had an absolute blast. Fantastic university and will cherish the memories forever. I'm from Liverpool but now live in London for work, have actually been considering going back to do a PHD in the near future.
Hey! So our freshers week was from Monday the 28th of September! I imagine yours might be from the 27th this year but I could be working haha! And also as soon as you get your room number you can start to meet people on Facebook group chats ran by Edge Hill! Hope this helps☺️
So we get put into these Facebook groups for our building by the the uni administration team, then we post our hall number and then when people comment saying they’re in the same hall as you you can share details 😊
No it’s fine dw haha! And it depends what your timetables and teachers are like! Like for example I have a 6-8 hour day on Monday with a few breaks here and there but in between modules not just at random times, but on Wednesday I have one two hour lecture in which my teacher usually gives us a 5-10 min break in the middle to go grab a drink and stuff but some don’t do that✨ hope that makes sense ahah xx
I can’t really say for the acceptance race as I don’t know much about that super sorry! ☹️ but for the performing arts department, I love it! So cosy and friendly but also a lot of hard work! Xx

Hi! Oh my goodness that’s so exciting! And we have one day a week where everything is in person and the other days we attend our classes online. Covid actually hasn’t really felt much different there tbh they’re doing their best to make us feel as normal as possible☺️ so as long as you wear a mask you’re good haha! And yeah, In my course alone I can think of at least 5! Xx

No don’t worry! My boyfriend lives with someone from Italy and he seems to be really enjoying learning about things here and teaching things about Italy, etc so I think international students (the ones that I know) are treated really well!

Closer to the time you move in you get put into a massive Facebook chat with your area (e.g. ch/court) by an edge hill staff member or someone and they post pics of each building and the flat numbers and you comment your room number on the pic of your building and then you just make your own chat with the people in your cluster of rooms! I don’t even know if that makes sense 😂 but I tried xx
