- I love ponchos and I was in the market for another one. This one to keep in the truck and use in case of an emergency. I could not find a US GI one ANYWHERE...
So I had to try something new.
I knew once a got the feel for it in the store that it was probably gonna be a winner.
Price was right and it WORKS!
It is little smaller than the USGI one. but the snaps DO line up and are of decent quality.

I love how when youre in the army...its for sure a game of who can get away with unissued kit! I had a supply tech room mate, which is like winning the lottery for Kit access.
I recall having to carry paper work daily because i was prescribed Swat boots and would get the uppers upset.
F the airforce getting all the best rain gear first in the military. While we still had olive drab gear in the army 😅
I survived the Army world before Goretex and CSM's that were pro only issued kit freaks...Always knew who they did and didn't like by who got away with what. Thanks for watching!
I just received a SGS CADPAT poncho that I’d ordered from MTL Armory and it differs from the one shown in the other guy’s video. It does not include the waterproof zipper at the neck. No velcro for rank or nametape and no pocket on the front. Bit disappointing. Wonder if there was a design change at some point? Anyways other than those differences the item is very good quality and the print is near perfect match to genuine CADPAT. Ripstop material too.

@@morganillsley94 I was hoping for the other style myself. The other guys video review appears to have been taken offline now for some reason but the collar seemed much better. Can’t find any contact info for SGS and MTL Armory is not being any help in locating them.
