Jacob, you put me to shame with how much you do for Christ. Please take care of yourself and rest until you can continue your excellent work. We need you with us. I have been praying for you like so many others.
There was always a rememberance of sin even after the sacrifice of animals. Even during this age of grace we also still have a rememberance of our sin and we still sin over and over again. So how do we really become clean? It has to be more than our sincere repentance. We can't do it. We keep falling. I think the whole thing has to rest on Jesus. The only way to get out of this sinful body is to get a new one. Thank God for a second Life.
@rosemaryhood6950 I have found recently that God has quietly been convicting me of sin.i was always criticising , disliking others in my thoughts. Now I find that each time an uncharitable thought comes into my mind I'm convicted and I tell God so and ask for forgiveness and help to truly repent and stop doing it . I somehow imagined all those years ago knowing that I would not be perfect before death that it would all have to be done at the last minute. Now I find the Lord gently doing it now. I'm nearly 80 . I'm horrified when I realise how sinful I was and obviously still am . I would have thought these sins less heinous than earlier more obvious ones , but obviously to God they are just as bad . Anyway all sin starts in the mind and soul. We need constant washing to clean it away . Love Kay
The prophet Jeremiah thought he was cheated by the Lord because no body listen to him. And yet he was not one of those being captured to slavery in Babylon.
