This style is lovely 🌹! I also struggled with frizz when trying to straighten my hair. I'm no professional, but the lack of moisture in the hair could probably be the issue. If this is the case, then:
+Deep condition prior to wash.
+Use moisturizing shampoo & conditioner.
+Seal hair cuticle to lock in moisture by rinsing with cold water for the final rinse.
+Use t-shirt (or something of similar material) to wrap the hair & allow bathroom to become steam-free (open doors, windows, turn on fans, etc.).
+Add heat protectant to damp hair.
+Use both hand-held & hooded dryer to ensure hair is thoroughly dry (mainly at the roots).
+Flat iron the hair using chase method.
+Seal with a frizz free serum or light hair oil (light handedly).
+Style/wrap.

Maybe not setting in bathroom will cause less frizz. I also saw where a young lady sat under dryer for a few minutes before blow drying and after blow drying prior to silk pressing?

Can you please try straightening your hair without adding any oil? I hear oil and leave in doesn’t help when straightening hair.
I have the same issue with my hair. It gets slick if I use a hot comb or turn the flat iron up high to 450! Smh 🤦🏾♀️
