For your question saying “why didn’t they just kill the scarlet witch?”, the answer to that is that she is simply too powerful to just be killed like that. She is protected while dreamwalking
I think everyone forgets that Wanda learned how to absorb power in WandaVision from Agatha. Captain Marvel was never going to be able to beat her. She used her own photon blast against her after she drained her power so crushing her was easy. I also love the subtle detail of the alternate Wanda flying kind of sloppy and off balanced out of the way point to show that she obviously hasn't gone through the same life events and trauma that our Wanda did to have to discover & understand and master her true power.
she’s in a plane of existence called the witches road apparently that might be explored on Agatha’s spin off. i don’t think they can get rid of someone that powerful and pivotal this way
@Ag8844 it’s not actually confirmed that Wanda ever entered the witches road, and you don’t have to be unconscious or dead to enter it. More than likely that red burst was the act of her powers just keeping her alive my teleporting her out or making a auto shield

One of the things that pisses me off the most about this movie is apparently every universe has its own Wanda. it would make so much more sense if Wanda was a nexus being (like in the comics) like America Chavez. Especially since they teased it in wandavision with one of those ads being for an antidepressant pill called Nexus and the slogan being something about choosing the reality of your choice

Many of the audience were asking how did Captain Marvel got done by a big statue when she can burst through any space ship? The director already gave explanation on what wanda did. While they are twirling on the air, Wanda was draining captain marvel of her powers. As you can see, captain marvel's armor was being fragmented/removed (the face part). So when Wanda blew captain marvel after being drained of her energy/power, she's already fluffy & pulpy as human.... That's why after getting smash by a statue she died 😊. I hope this clears the confusion

I’ve never seen this movie but I will since it comes recommended by rocklee. Although it is interesting reading and hearing about what the actors in this film say what was it like filming certain scenes or how they felt about there character’s motivations in this film recently . It gives added context to it for me at least.
Answering another question in the video, Wanda’s powers are chaos magic. Chaos magic is the most powerful magic in marvel and in DC which is what makes her more powerful than strange and any other magic user out there. She has the ability to manipulate reality on a multiversal scale and manipulate probabilities on a high scale as well.
You guys should watch What If.... The first episode is the Captain Carter episode. This movie wasn't the worst but it wasnt the best. Interesting choices were made. Everything, Everywhere, All at Once and What if do the multiverse much much better.
I recommend Knock at the Cabin. Also gonna keep reminding you about The Witch part 1 with Kim Da-mi. ☺ Can't let it slip your mind when thinking of movies for your movie channel. 😉 😂
The interaction between 838 Mordo and 616 Dr. Strange wad weird, because it never showed Mordo in 616 trying to kill Dr. Strange, and Mordo did kind of have a point in 616, how Sorcerers like Dr. Strange and the Ancient One and others just carelessly use magic and tamper with the fundamental laws of the universe and using forbidden rituals and spells, and destroying things, causing unbelievable damage to all of reality, like how 838 Dr. Strange caused an incusion and destroyed a whole universe, and things like that, so Mordo had a point, how he was doing what he thought was right, which was hunting down Sorcerers and individuals with magic that pose a threat to all reality with their power whether it is existing, or using the powers irresponsibly, kind of like how Dr. Strange uses mind erasing spells and affecting the fabric of reality and other realities and the minds of people to throw parties so that Wong doesn't find out or just use magic for other bad purposes. Mordo, I find that Mordo is not a fully evil villain because of the way that he was built up in Dr. Strange. Now, if they showed Mordo in 616 fighting with Dr. Strange, then the interaction with 838 Mordo would have had more impact. But yeah, the way that they make out Mordo to be, it wasn't as Dr. Strange really described him.
Strange saved everyone’s ass in the first movie. He literally trapped himself with a god getting tortured and killed on repeat to save the whole world. If Mordo has a problem with that why didn’t he step up and save the world? It’s pretty easy when he pretends he has a higher moral ground but truly doesn’t do much himself. Mordo tried to kill Strange multiple times because he “thinks” he’s dangerous. Well the fact here is that Strange saved Earth and then the whole universe while taking nothing for himself. He had the time stone with him yet never used it for selfish personal reasons. While Mordo plays judge and executioner pretending he can predict the future, Strange is trying his best to save everyone even if he sacrificed himself in the process. Unlike Wanda he doesn’t break the rules for selfish reasons. He breaks the rules to save everyone else not to make himself happy on the expense of everyone else.
I love this movie, even it has so many plotholes. But the biggest plot a can´t stop to think about it. There are countless universes. Why the hell nobody had the idea to help Wanda to find one, where she is already dead and her kids alone. I mean until the fight and the escape to the illuminati noone of our heros know about the incursions.
