If their new album has like one or two more heavy heavy songs like this one, and the rest of the album is like the ep "somewhere beyond the blue" and the other single "Show me your God", then (in my Amity fan boy opinion) this will be the best Amity album to date.

It's actually sooo sad how many friends The Amity Affliction members lost i'd do only sad stuff to if i were them. Also they're one of the biggest Australien bands a lot of their albums went straight to no 1 of the Aussie charts if I remember right and it's actually sick. They're heavy, but also pretty catchy so much that even pop listener could listen to them.

The breakdown after the feature definitely gives Chelsea grin hostage vibes definitely one of their heaviest song they've released but I loved the song

Amity has to be my most favorite band to date... Their formula works, why change it!? I love this song too but that is why I love Amity. They have a perfect blend of heavy and clean with emotions. Their cleans are beautiful and screams impactful. Impeccable tone throughout. They are a band that actually makes you feel something while headbanging rather than just thrashing aimlessly. There is a message and purpose to their songs. It has taste and sensibility. Controlled chaos...
TAA is still #1 in my book...

I really enjoyed this song, and I enjoyed the one they released last year too. I’ve been a fan since the Let The Ocean Take Me era, and it felt like after the album after that (This Could Be Heartbreak), they were trying to achieve a sound that just didn’t work for them. I’ve liked a few songs since then, but this has me pretty hyped for their new album. I’m really happy to see them honing in on their strengths. I’ve also been sleeping on their drummer, those kicks and blasts are nasty!

Y'all are cool sometimes I don't completely agree but I like what y'all contribute to the commentary without being that judgemental or negative
I wish more ppl were open minded about music taste. So what if I dont like it if you do thats all that matters. Especially in the metal community there are to many elitists, dont judge someone on their music choice its immature. On the flip side its ok if someone isnt a fan of a band or artist you love. We are all unique and thats a good thing!
Can totally understand why you werent into amity, its one of those hit or miss kind bands.
Just like how people either love or dislike dance gavin dance.
While i dont like every amity song the ones i do have a special meaning for me.

Amity has really good albums, let the ocean take me, youngbloods, chasing ghosts and I mean, all their albums are good but different at the same time, give them a try and you might love them, most of their songs hit harder than a drunk dad because of the lyrics
If you haven't already listen to one of their old songs like Cornerstone of Misery or Severance. 👌🏾

I highly recommend to react to Kim Dracula and start with his first own Video "Make me famous". Knowing that you love Bands like Electric Callboy and Falling In Reverse, who always drop something special, i guarantee you will freak out on this band.
A little surprided you guys didn't know much about Louie as he was a big part of the whole DTD crew in Australia. Liked this song, but I still rock with Show Me Your God more. I do understand the fatigue with the clean singing tone though.
Also, P.S. for a hot sauce rec. Secret Aardvark is my favorite everyday use hot sauce. Made with habanero, but not too hot with delicious flavor.

Really enjoyed the song, I just felt they decided to write a deathcore song, and this is the basic formula of a deathcore song. Some blast beats here, some heavy synth in the background there.
Still, great song.

The mixing on this song definitely wasn't for me.
The first minute was pretty relentless and a fun double kick / blast beat onslaught.
Other than that, not great, super repetitive, and lyrically a pretty one dimensional song.
Honestly, if this is the best the band has to offer, I'll be giving the next album a pass.
