Can drawing really open you up to new experiences?

This is a little neurographic pen and ink drawing I did in one of my sketchbooks.
I used:
Fabriano Artistico extra white 140 lb. 100% cotton soft press paper.
Koh-i-noor Rapidograph technical pens.
A Zebra G Nib dip pen.
Platinum Carbon black ink.
