its been like that since 3.0 look at the multiple Changaloa cartel arcs people like Mehdi and Saab were going a long with it and extending the RP but cops that were on the other side inserted themselves into just to purposely ruin it. Its been a lot of arcs cut short but thats just the one that sticks out to me.
Yea cops that ended last attempt at the arc you could see they were hell bent for W in using a dead animal call as a reason to search that store then use "business stash" legislation to let them raid it. They used business stashes for the arc to make it easier for all crew to have access to use them. Even after the cop was denied a warrant for clear reasons of there was no business there he abused things and still went and raided it. It felt like he was using Meta of knowing stuff was there then used a dead animal call next street over to give the reason to search it.
Cops that complained about gunplay over roleplay yet ignore cash exchange, ignore laundromat, end chases asap, end arcs asap, but 30 sign on when there is a shootout. Incredible.
they are ones that used class 2's for everything at start of 3.0 then when admins decided to remove class 2's which cops lost instantly but crimes kept ones they had but couldn't get more. cops complained to high hell when it was a lot of their fault they were removed.

There are a few good rp cops, but they are either shut down or held back because the PD has been fundamentally broken since the start of 4.0 and keeps getting worse.
I think in terms of innovation Prodigy 1.0 had NoPixel on it's heels. Now, with Prodigy 2.0 NoPixel is probably going to fall under for the every day player and maybe a lot of the larger streamers too.
One of the best outlooks I've heard....you were scared to be active and do stuff and create RP ...because the penalty for creating RP was losing a day of RP....WWWW
you spent a day grinding to create RP then lose the day if you get cault. They made consequences so harsh that crim's have to be sure sweaty try hard cause 4-5 days of grinding money and stuff gets wiped out with 1 arrest.
No Pixel culture is ruined.....the ideas are good.....but the culture has killed it. It should die off and start a new named server with new PD personnel

When it comes to hype no server can beat 3.0 a lot of unique and fun characters even the drama are interesting to watch. But when it comes to rp as a whole, 2.0 still up there, imo.
