As a current auto glass installer that replace RV Glass regularly you guy did a great job! Did you sika for the glue on the pinch weld? Those Tiffins are crazy big and heavy. In saying that you guys did a perfect set your bead looks nice a perfect. That was a text books job. Only suggestion would be wear cut resistant gloves when using your long knife (I know corny and also your technique looks good.).
Why do you not use shorter knifes? Why are you not wearing cut resistant gloves and safety glasses? Did you not have to activate and primer the screen? Why did you not tape the body and glass before you lifted it in? The final seal is very important it stops leaks and wind noise coming in. With the correct scaffolding this is a two man job.
I’ve been doing this for 8 years. You just get set in your ways I guess. The primer is in the glue. I don’t have warranty’s or scratches on anything. I’m not risking this much money and have two guys installing. Thank you for the comments I do appreciate them.
I have a 2005 beaver coach. And we bought it used. We had it for 1 month. And the driver side windshield come out on the top. The RV sales paid to have put back in. And about 1 year later. It come back out again. So I bought some suction cups. And I put it back myself. Then a year later passages side come out. And I put it back in. Than 2 years later. The driver's side come out again. Then I seen that the bottom of the seal had parts coming out. So I bought a new seal for my 2 glass windshield. I am so tired of windshields popping out. What is the best adhesive to keep these darn windows in . Thank you and that is a very nice video

Primer is in the glue so no activator….8 years and one hasn’t fallen out yet. Thanks for the comments.

Where and how did you make that scaffold
@@vogati1 It’s two Werner scaffolds bolted together I just cut the two extra ends. The scaffold is from Home Depot.
Awesome. How did you build that scaffold?
Sorry it took so long for me to reply. It’s two Werner scaffolds bolted together. It can be built easily.
Too bad i have to take 2 windshields off and then re install on my doubledecker, look a real pain the butt without a proper crew.
Lol
