I like Melody's speech and confidence hmm LIFE 😢. But the way their faces look cheerful is on another Level, may Jehova replace everything for you in Jesus name 🙏 ❤
This is very very sad but also a chance to do things better in terms of better structured buildings/selling portions to create a safety market environment for the merchants, this could include emergency ways, fire hydrants better power wiring etc .. for a safer working environment. It’s also a chance for cheddar, as real estate mogul to prove his love for the people if he could raise some funds to rebuild this for the people at no costs. 🙏🏾
@sweetbadd9852 I’m sorry but this comment doesn’t make any sense in this context. People lost their belongings and we all know how hard and challenging the life in Ghana can be. How are they supposed to replace all the loss if they now have to pay huge amount of money to get a new place for their shops and afterwards for new goods.. They need external support now and someone in the position like cheddar can really help here which would be another boost in his new intended political career.. and he has all what it takes to raise funds and help with the rebuild. I’m living in Germany and here where I live a Family loss their home to fire and the community and mayor raised funds for the family for a new start. It’s time for us Ghanaians to have this kind of collective mindset and not think only for ourselves. In times like these, help is needed everywhere and leaders can have huge impact on the help needed!
Oh the association of traders can afford the place and rebuild it to ultra modern business complex but AMA or the owners didn’t want to sell to them for some reason..😢😢😢😢😢
Why free?! Is this how to do business??! Aaaahh! Africans always want everything free! Ghanaians have still not understood how business works, people have been selling for generations, and if u go and ask any of these people for $5,000 right now, they don't have, because we are allergic to money, we don't understand that money is for saving and not for spending carelessly, that's why we are always crediting everything saaaa, we always want everything for free! When u are doing business, no mater the size of your business, u invest in your business to have security for emergencies! It's called INSURANCE! Ghanaians live begging too much! If Cheddar hadn't reinvested in his business, will he be who he is today?! Everyone is selling and yet, no one has emergency money to do anything! Even when we die, someone else has to beg for money to bury us, after we have done business and traded our whole lives! People will sell, and spend every single cedi they made today! When their supplier comes to give them stuff, they don't have money to pay them, why?! Even tomato seller of plantain roaster is supposed to respect their business enough to.open an account for their business!!! That is your way of surviving, that is YOUR COMPANY too, onion selling is your company too, respect your business enough to open an account for it, and reinvest in it, not spending everything today, then u can't even pay your supplier!! No body ever has money to pay for anything, always credit credit credit, I can never understand Ghanaians and how we learned how to behave this way! All these second hand people make descent money, the wholesalers are very comfortable, and yet, they don't have insurance, no one pays any taxes on their daily sales, so how can the govt come and rebuild a new market for u??!! Do they know how much a new market will cost??!! We are such sad people, then when we see everything the foreign givts do for their people after something happens, we want to go there, thinking everything is free there!! Hm. Ignorance is such a terrible thing! If u are a seller, nomatter what u sell, go to an u insurance company and find out how u can get insurance security for your business. U can invest as little as 2% of whatever u sold in the month!! Listen to how they are ignorantly begging other people to come and rebuild for them!! What is wrong with us??
Dawah/Kokompeh/aayalolo/fadamah/agbogbloshie odornaa brewery circle adabraka depot. Dawah timber merchants and obroni weewu sellers were disturbing the Princess Marie Children Hospital at the Derby Avenue road the government relocated Dawah kokompe and obroni weewu sellers to Kantamanto market temporarily hence today. It was decided that the government in the near future will build a huge gigantic railway terminal there.
Look at you, you don't want untramodern stall, for it to be burning everything abi, is that what you want, I thought you will say they should build a better market for you people

There is an old saying which says "if you don't learn from your mistakes then you are doomed to repeat them". On using the keywords of "Kantamanto market fire" on YT, I discovered that this very market has been burnt down repeatedly ..... two, four and eleven years ago. You must forgive me for not having too much sympathy for foolishness.
