@@MatchesPeachesI know. I think this one is arguably more iconic conceptually - namek Goku, pose, wind swept battle damage - just was not executed well. I think if they took the moulding (softer/anime musculature/detail and hair), shading of the Buu Goku for this figure than it would have been a home run. I wanted one SSJ Goku and I think the Buu saga one is iconic, amazing detailing and pose and unique. I’m glad about my choice.

Emoving 100%. Both are different though because the Emoving is Goku right when he transforms (full shirt) and the Omnibus is him after fighting Frieza for a bit longer at 100%
The arm muscle when look upfront is weird and off. His hair! just over detailed. Look nothing like the drawing that they base off of. His hair should be more simpler and they should stay faithful to Toriyama drawing. I’m glad I didn’t pick this up.
Ngl, I think this one's ugly. I'm not getting why people are going nuts over him. The proportions and anatomy are just bad, and his pants look horrible from the back. I've had these opinions since the prototype photos, so no one can convince me otherwise.

i have the Xenoverse2 Deluxe version of the SMSP. I'll stick to that one. I saw a video comparison and the Kuji is much smaller. I dont have any issue with the sculpt or likeness of the SMSP.
Just got this figure for my birthday, I do like it more in person, they got Goku’s intense stare down perfectly. Biggest issue is the chest is too small and there are too many lines in the abs that throw off the body composition. Hair is a nice sculpt but would have loved it to be the fluffy yellow/white of early SS. Overall very happy to add to my Namek collection!
Damn bro this is way worse than I expected, I was really excited about the whole set but in the end the only one that is worth buying is Bulma. The 2016 Manga Dimensions is so much better than this one. Btw amazing content as always💪🏻
Since I probably can't get this figure cheaply where I live, this will probably be a skip. The promo pics made the figure look good enough to buy, but the "unfluffy" hair and slightly oddly angled head kinda break the deal for me. The figure is really nice tho, but as a huge Namek Arc SS Goku fan... This wouldn't replace my Master Stars Piece Goku. Hell, I might even get a third party figure instead, which has a slightly better looking hair... Thank goodnes these videos exist. I can see before I buy.

When I first saw this I considered replacing the Emoving Battle Legend Goku on my Namek shelf, but it doesn't look like this has it beat. I don't hate it, but could be better.
Such a shame had high hopes for this one. Maybe i still get him though because its my favorite saga and favorite transformation in the show. I have the smsp one also .
Yes !! I did receive mine and I am still wiping the drool off of it!! It ALMOST (my example anyway) has the same tilt forward as SMSP but upon proper positioning towards the back of my shelf he has been stable. ❤ He’s great and is easily my TOP Super Saiyan Goku figure now even after just getting Omnibus Crash Super Saiyan. Hopefully he remains stable but it won’t be difficult to fix Glad you found the same Matches but no where near as egregious as it is with SMSP

honestly the best version of the fig is the one that came with xenoverse 2 even in terms of colouring ts just great. this one is just bad you can clearly see where the arms get glued to the shoulders specially from the back looks bootlegged af
I still don't like the SMSP (that came with Xenoverse 2) but I can't argue that this one is better than it. I'll wait for another attempt at this Goku one day
For me this one is just far to similar to the Super Master Stars Piece one, and that version has the different shading options like Manga Dimensions which are awesome.
