The only possible way a force staff was a good choice this game was if you also got aghs shard. You can abuse the knock back and free pathing to push yourself out of Mars ult. You probably could have bought shard straight after blink, too, it allows you to chain additional stun from distance and create free pathing opportunities for escape. Noob :-P
