My all-time favorite movie!!!! I love it, my absolute number one! First time I watched it I had no Idea what I getting myself into, I loved it ever since. The movie is so good that it doesn't matter if you watch it backwards or forwards!!!

Its been a very long time since I watched Memento and after watching your analysis I am now convinced I need to see it again and has got me more intrigued about Tenet. Thank you, again!!
That’s brilliant man. Must say I think after rewatching it, Nolan looks to have definitely been inspired by Memento for Tenet just as much as Inception. I honestly think Tenet will be an amalgamation of style from his entire filmography. Cannot wait, and glad you enjoyed it.

Hello Cortex great video on Memento probably best films of decade really enjoy the premise and characters that Jonathan and Christopher Nolan created Plus the twist at end totally shocked me in my first view. I do want mention one aspect that do love about the film no-one talks with this film is the music by David Julyan it's truly amazing gets into heads of our troubled protagonist. And my piece from soundtrack is How Can I Heal. Looking forward to your analysis of Insomnia Robin Williams is amazing in that film 2002 was good year for him as actor.
That was definitely an aspect I should have mentioned. David Julyan is undermentioned as he did a fantastic job in the early films of Nolan. I think I mentioned him in my following video but I will for sure bring him up more in insomnia. Love how his music blends with the use of atmosphere in the film to convey Nolan’s essence for genre storytelling. And totally, Williams is brilliant as finch, him and Pacino deliver some of the best performances of that year in my opinion. And thanks man, really glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Nikhil Mishra I brought memento a few years back so I’m not sure where to find it. I would check amazon or rent it if it’s available somewhere. But it’s defo a hard film to find now along with insomnia too. Glad you enjoyed inception after a rewatch.
One of my favorites (of all time). You are right, Lenny is even more tortured than Batman because he's lying to himself in order to have a purpose to live. To me it's not so much time but subjectivity what's in the heart of Nolan's films. Since cinema is sculpting in time, as said by the great russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovski, this is a key element to understand what feels like being in other person's shoes. Memento manages to convey how our memory works: we remember what we want to remember, and our identity is created by the narrative of our memories; in this sense Nolan explores how truly are we really as human beings when we depend in such fragiles things: the brain and our minds. I love Memento, it's hard to rank it though, some days it's my favorite Nolan film, and other days it's third.

I can't find it on any streaming service memento But after seeing inception for a few days I feel like the more I think of It, it is getting better
