@@nathanyein9968 well said. What you means is his pace injection ability, which includes in his tactics, creating a flow for a rally then blow the opponent away. That is why I said Lin break Chen's rhythm since Lin injects the rally's pace before it's Chen's time to go for a winner. About Lin being off-foot, it is because of Chen's tactical shots is hard to predict(that is why Chen can go for a kill). The rhythm I mentioned here is also the game's flow, which is when a player(Chen in this case) get the advantage, they will try to play as secure as possible, creating little chance for their opponent to turn the situation and make a comeback. Therefore to break this rhythm means to break the consistent advantage of the opponent. If you watch the full match you'll see, from the second game til the end, Chen weren't able to win a streak longer than 5. Anyway, thanks a lot for your view.

my favorite player and i think the best technique was Hidayat, but for sure out of those 5 probably best of all time lin dan is the GOAT, the complete package. especially on the mental aspect he is by far the best, tho his touch is also unmatched.
