Thank you Jesus!!! I was in so much bondage and He showed me I’m saved by grace not by works. Seeing myself forgiven for ALL my sin made me see the love of God and melted my heart!!!
So, when we receive this truth and we look totally at His Grace for our time in need, and it doesn’t show up, then what? God is absolutely good, and I’m getting kicked in the teeth over and over and over again. I ask for Grace every morning and all throughout the day. I’m now at less than zero, and I wait and wait and wait and wait on His Grace to rescue me. What exactly are we waiting for? When it doesn’t show up, then what? Am I so bad I can’t even get rest right?
I’m not alone… teach me Duane… I believe! I can’t get anymore yoked with Jesus l. Why did David write so many of these types of Psalms? Paul was Martyred. Teach me about the times when Grace doesn’t rescue? “Hear my prayer, O Lord! And let my cry for help come to You. Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my distress; Incline Your ear to me; In the day when I call answer me quickly. For my days have been consumed in smoke, And my bones have been scorched like a hearth. My heart has been smitten like grass and has withered away, Indeed, I forget to eat my bread. Because of the loudness of my groaning My bones cling to my flesh.” Psalms 102:1-5
Can other's also benefit. Or does this cement some privileged position for a few. These special visions and discussions with God, so what about others. Or is Charis special. Or are the rest except for a few on top privileged to panhandle into riches. And prosperity and excitement. Everything.right about the message. No problem with that. Keep doing it.
Remember Christ didn't abandon you when you were down. Remember the weak and meek. I disagree with some of your assertions about prosperity concerning money, and difficulties in health and difficulties is a lack of faith. To where we walk around with a stupid smile when we should serve in weaknesses as well. Humility.
I know my questions are unfair to ask, I’m not not even expecting an answer. I know Jesus is my Lord and Savior and my only answer. I know someday I will know everything. I won’t give up on Grace because I have nothing else. I’m not waiting for anything or anyone else. There’s nothing else to wait on. God’s not mad at me and He’s not taking things out on me. But in this life Grace is withheld and it hasn’t manifested, just the opposite. The more Grace I ask for, the less I have. I literally have my breath left, and that’s it. I can also walk across the room. But no more fight is left. If God doesn’t come through, 4 elderly people who CANNOT possibly look after themselves will be homeless. I don’t see victory in that… I don’t know how God gets glorified.
God even gave Grace to Cain. I believe in Grace. Grace was before we were even thought of. David was in a deep relationship with God, yet he wrote Psalms 102 and many others like it. Where’s the teaching on when Grace doesn’t come.
Duane, I wonder what you would say if all of your income was taken from you and family members your caring for (elderly people) are experiencing strokes and heart attacks and you have no money, no job, no insurance, you’ve lost your home and car and everything else yet you’ve trust God’s grace? Well, the good news is that there is nothing left to take. I can’t lose anymore. If my life was taken and I was in Heaven it would be an immense upgrade. If Grace doesn’t show up, and instead, you have more loss, then what? I’m asking in all sincerity. I’m not mad, I’m not angry, I’m just being truthful.
