    Great podcast!
Could you help wirh advice for sleeping at night for my kids.. So our 5 and 3 year old when they sleep on their backs, have their mouths closed .. But in the middle of the night they go on their stomach and mouth breath.. When I’m awake, I manually turn them over but once I’m sleeping then that no longer can happen..
How can I stop them from going to their stomach and mouth breathing?
I’m hesitant to put mouth tape on (especially for the 3 year old)… Any suggestions? Any and all ninja tips would help a lot!
    Thank you so much.

Thank you for ALL your interview - so helpful! Do you suggest myo before MARPE? I'm having marpe this week but noone suggested I do Myo first, and I'm wondering if that's a step I missed😳

I feel like orthopedic expansion is just palatal expansion period. I mean, if you don't expand the palate but instead you just tip the teeth, that's not really palatal expansion is it? It's kind of like say you have a patient who has an underbite, and rather than suggesting surgery as an option, someone were to say well I can camouflage your bite with orthodontics and it's going to look just as good if not BETTER than jaw surgery, and it'll move your bones, etc. and nobody will even be able to tell you had an underbite. I mean if that was the sales pitch, like that's not actually going to happen so to me it just is not legitimate. So a palatal expansion with no palatal expansion just kind of seems like the same kind of deal to me.

ron fails to mention that sometimes braces tip the teeth inwards so depending on the case sometimes tipping the front teeth fowrawrd can provide enough relief for tmj and jaw pain because then when you bite down your teeth wont be hitting eachother so much. i like ron but hes too one dimensional thinking expansion only he doesnt mention the teeth hardly at all and thats important as well for many people what position there teeth are in .
