Another beautiful nurflugal. What wing profile did you use? If it is for thermalling how much washout did you put in? Really beautiful!!!
+Mike White Yes, it's for thermalling. The wing is very light, ~6 kg / 1.8 m², nevertheless it can glide fast. It has the airfoil TL54 with 2,7° washout.

Can you provide a link to the build log for this beast? I would like to know more about it's design and construction.
+highster Unfortunately, there is no build log. I designed and built the glider together with its owner, Lutz. The wing has a foam core, coated with Carbon (D-box) and glas. The wing spar is made of many carbon rovings and balsa wood. The sweep angle is 25° and the aspect ratio is 14.6. The wing has splitted flaps (inner third of wingspan) for elevator and butterfly landing. The ailerons (outer third) are splitted too. So you can simulate a rudder by one-sided spreading the ailerons.

What is 5,00m in inches or feet or even meters????
5.00m is 5 meters. That's about 16' 3" or 196 inches or so in freedom units .

What in the world is wrong with that tow plane pilot? Was that his impression of a bucking bronco?
The pilot is ok. But the towing hook is mounted too high over the cg of the tow plane. (On top of the upper wing)
