In that first group, they were of African-Arabian in culture and they lived on the highlands of Eritrea in the late second millennium BC. They also were directly in contact with ancient Egypt through the Red Sea maritime. These people are thought to be indigenous.

Krar is a musical instrument used mainly in Habesha tribe(dominant tribe in Eritrean & Ethiopia). The tribe is known to be migrated from Southern-Arabia(today's Yemen) some time around 1000 BC. There may be Jewish connection to Krar due to the fact that Jewish religion was dominant before Christianinty came to the region around 4 AD.
