Metal Detecting 1700's US coin & other Bucket LISTERS. / CTX 3030 / Nox 800

Went out on an awesome hunt on a freezing cold day with Tyler and James from the copper poppers. We metal detected a 1787 Farm property. we actually got to see in person the original sheepskin deed of the property the homeowner had on the fireplace mantel . incredible peice of history. we ended up finding lots of great relics and amazing coins.

Have you ever detected the Thompson's Run area dahn by the river. Its rough and the grounds been tore up, you can also follow the crik up. Braddock's Defeat was around there.

The Liberty Cap large cent in the condition its in - which I would say is unfortunately not better than AG-3 given the overall environmental damage - is worth no less than $250 in its most common variety. Several other varieties exist for that year, so its worth your friend's researching more - maybe with the help of a local coin expert/dealer.
