Trying a LUXURY Hotpot Buffet in The Philippines! (With a DONUT WALL) 🇵🇭

- After finding the Viking buffet in SM North we have been craving a buffet, so we went to one we could get into. That buffet is the Four Seasons Hotpot buffet!
We start out the day by exploring the Araneta Center and all the malls around it. This is followed by our long dinner at the buffet!!! Enjoy another vlog from us!! More to come tomorrow :)

It's called Farmers Plaza because the mall is located beside the Farmers Market where you can buy fresh produce.

Oh yes! You've been to Araneta Cubao like I suggested in one of your recent videos 👏👏👏 and finally experience the nearby malls like farmer's plaza which is one of the oldest mall in metro manila but they continue to upgrade the establishment and that's why it's kinda weird because they have plenty of empty spaces or it's like incomplete with continues if not endless renovations 😊...and of course the Gateway Mall which is kinda high end but it seems that you missed checking out the Araneta Coliseum which is just around that area but nevertheless m thrilled to see you boys enjoying a buffet similar to Vikings 😍..the best part is always when you try all the different food items that you picked and your instant reactions after every bite 🤩 plus when you rate them and of course you're spontaneity is always the one that we all enjoy...And Tyler since you like peanut flavor in your food..you might wanna try Kare Kare which is another Filipino popular dish where peanut butter is a big part of the said delicacy and it is delicious! 😋 it has pork and different vegetables in it with peanut butter as part of the main ingredient of this dish...it's kinda like chowder but with chunks of delicious pork plus veggies...and it comes with "Bagoong" or shrimp paste which you incorporate it with the said dish as a condiment to fully experience and appreciate the whole thing... congratulations to you guys 👍👍👍 because I really enjoyed this particular video and can't wait to see the next videos to come..until your next adventure and always keep safe ❤️

the franchise owner of taco bell and dairy queen is the same owner of pizza hut, which owns araneta center (araneta coliseum, ali mall, farmer's plaza, etc.) SB19 also holds concerts in araneta coliseum.
You two are like the Phineas and Ferb of travel vlogs. Dorky and cute. Hope you could also visit places outside of Quezon City and Manila. You will find better tasting foods in the provinces. Just be cautious of scammers.

@William however, these two wonderful guys are budget travelers as they already mentioned in the past. Don’t compare 5 star restaurants in Manila to carinderias in the provinces. If you do, then compare them with the upscale restaurants in the boondocks albeit not as numerous.

Farmer’s is located outside the Farmer’s mall haha! It is where you find all the farmer’s produce including seafood, meat and poultry. There you can also choose and shop seafood to have it cooked (called paluto) and eat at what we call “dampa”

Yes your hint is right. This mall is too old. It was first inaugurated in 1969 under the name then "Coliseum Farmers Market and Shopping Center". Later renamed as Farmers Plaza and twice renovated in 1999 and 2014.
Rice is life but when you are in a buffet restaurant, number rule is not to get rice. :)

when it comes to buffets the most famous and expensive one is the Spiral Buffet located in Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel CCP Complex 1300, Roxas Blvd, Pasay, Metro Manila. it's pretty expensive but it's super worth it.
One of the most expensive buffet here in the Philippines is the SPIRAL buffet, a bit pricey but you wont regret it...

Vikings have a lot to offer. Not only Japanese, Italian, Korean, Western, and Filipino Foods. You will enjoy it. :) Because they are a lot to choose from it. I advise you not to eat any food if you are going to eat at a buffet.

Try the Vikings buffet in the Philippines guys, this one of the BEST buffet in the Philippines there's a lot of diff foods & dessert to choose from. have also ice cream, cookies and liquor there, its awesome buffet.

Please don't Vikings is definitely overrated and not worth the price. Sorry. This is based on our experience when we went to the Philippines last May. Don't waste your money
I'd prefer Medley buffet in Okada or Spiral in Sofitel.

Tyler, you should level up your sauce next time with calamansi. Squeezing one calamansi in that sauce adds a bit of sour. Most restaurants (except fastfood) has calamansi if you ask for it. Our holy grail of sauce combination is soy sauce, calamansi and chili, if they have garlic, you can add that too.

The area is also known as Araneta City since it is owned by the Aranetas from the malls, hotels, condominiums and corporate buildings. Araneta Coliseum is where Thrilla in Manila was held where Muhammad Ali won that historic boxing match against Joe Frazier. Ali Mall was named after the boxer. Farmers market is on the ground level where they sell fruits, vegetables, meats and seafoods which can be cooked and eaten in the foodcourt for a fee. The market also have many shops that sells fresh cut flowers and live plants & pets. The reason why the area is peppered with Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell is because the Aranetas owns the franchise locally.

7:00 is where you can ride LRT2 going to Manila towards Recto station. Then transfer to LRT 1 if you want to go to Intramuros, or Manila City Hall

That's called Farmers' Plaza because back in the 70s, the basement used to be a fresh market where farmers obviously sell their produce. They made that now a shopping section of Araneta City for clothings, gadgets and services.
Now, the fresh market is on the opposite side exclusively for wet and dry goods, fresh harvests.
Yes, Farmer's is an old mall...why don't you try the street foods instead? Ugbo, Tondo's night market could offer you something different from what you've experienced so far...and just a suggestion, if you ever visit another buffet restaurant, stay away from rice, it makes you feel full but the idea for a buffet is to try everything...
You missed a good spot in Cubao. Cubao Expo is really the place to be when you’re there.
You started north of EDSA, with SM North and Trinoma, and then you went a little bit south, you were in Araneta center, visiting Ali mall, Farmers plaza and Gateway. You move further south of EDSA and you will be at Ortigas center. There you will find SM Megamall, Shangri-la plaza and Podium. You move further south, you will be at Ayala center. There you have Greenbelt, Glorietta and other malls like SM Makati and Landmark. And there's a new one there in Ayala triangle, not completed yet, I think. And then if you go to the southernmost part of EDSA, you will end up in SM Mall of Asia. SM North Edsa, SM Megamall and SM Mall of Asia are the three biggest malls in the country.

One of the must-have in the halo-halo is the ube jam or ube halaya.. the purple paste that you skipped in place of the ube ice cream.
if you like a good hotpot, i'd recommend jiang nan hotpot located in banawe. it's about 30mins away from araneta. probably closer to where you are staying in QC.

Oh my you guys just went around and Gateway. You could have just gone down the escalator in Gateway and turned left towards your destination but it was great seeing you guys going around coz it has been three years since i've even been in that area of the NCR.
The other building is the farmers market. They built that plaza to cater dry goods or commercial items.

From the history, the farmers plaza used to be the meeting place of people from far that wants to sell their produce that consist of fresh produced grains and vegetables to live stocks and that’s where it got it’s name from.

The Farmers Plaza is old. Gateway is much newer, younger, but older than Trinoma.
For halo halo you need more ice thank you can think of. Like the whole bowl is ful of ice then just put few of the ingredients mostly all of those beans and stuff then put a little milk cuz you'll put ice cream and it'll be more creamier
Have you tried exploring other areas like Bonifacio Global City or Makati City? Maybe weather permitting, Tagaytay is fun. You just need to have somebody really trustworthy to go w/ you.
The one you passed by with signage "Sunflower" pushing cart by that man is actually iconic here in🇵🇭 selling 'Dirty ice cream with diff. Flavours ' it scoop up and put in a edible cone or epic put it in a bun as ice cream sandwich . Not literally dirty but it was just calling, maybe it's old style ice cream preparation and its historic food..Try to experience when you see it again..as a part of street food hunting
You can actually go to the grocery to buy fresh pineapple, sometimes they already have peeled pineapple ready.
