This was beautiful to watch. It's nice to see the guys witness the moment Jack was crowned Salmonella King.
I think some kind of collab between you and Agnese @NoSediment would be a great opportunity to explore your interest in wine and picking them out. She's good people. 👍
I just misread that as "Fooding wine you food shouldn't be difficult." ...Am I still drunk...How much scotch did I have last night...
Please have them react to How To Basic Fried Rice.
I demand you guys TRY McCormick baking bags. Jack is giving them a bad name
Get a 4 pack of chicken thighs, or quarter a whole bird. normal sized ones not the steroid birds.
Season both sides... and under the skin. Spray the bag with olive oil, center the thighs, 375 for 60 mins.
Open the bag, broil 2 minutes to crisp, moist and tender... if its a roast I sear first out on the Grill then bag and bake till tender.
Brian loves making me suffer, review chicken!? I tough we were friends 😂
That's what friends do sometimes 😌 Lol
I do it BECAUSE we are friends brotha 😂
You welcomed him into your home man, you brought this on yourself 😂
At least he didnt make you a batch of Aunt Myrna's Party Cheese.
I seriously wonder how someone like Jack even exists. The backlash alone should be enough to make him question his chicken.
I love how this is just the go to video chefs show other chefs now to scare and disgust their friends lol, as if Jack's cooking is like an old spooky campfire story, truly a classic
theres a whole roll of em, the epicurious "pro" chef making biriyani with freka, anything jamie oliver, poor Kays cooking ... but Jack tops them all!
This and the 14-Month Freezer Brisket
😂💯
@@darksendkilla Most of them won't kill you with their food like Jack will.
The chicken is coming from inside the house!
Brain is definitely the guy that shows his friends 2 girls 1 cup and laughs hysterically 😂
That feels like the same energy, yeah
Oh god. I regret every single thing that I did in life that led me to that video. 🤢🤢🤮
don't forget lemon party
Not nearly as disgusting as watching Jack.
@@deminybsnah 1 guy 1 jar is the worst one
I understand that Jack refuses to eat chicken in a restaurant because he believes they over-cook the chicken when it is cooked to proper temp.
What he calls juicy most call bloody 😭
@@melrobertson2743 What others call Bloody (for Chicken), we Foodies call it Salmonella Samba!
And it's funny that people eat under cooked beef and call ot steak.
@@hainleysimpson1507 Tell me you don’t know much about food-born illnesses without telling me you don’t know much about food-born illnesses… 🤦♂️
Beef doesn’t carry salmonella. Nor does it carry any sort of bacteria that would be destroyed by heating above 160 degrees.
Beef and fish are safe to eat raw, chicken and pork are very not safe raw (salmonella and trichinosis respectively)
I swear to god, Bag N’ Season is supposed to be mixed with water and make a a broth in the bag. He just straight up didn’t cook a half an unseasoned chicken. Jack is a food terrorist.
He's notorious for NEVER following instructions or recipes
@@csvega it’s insane. I watched the August The Duck break downs on Jack like a year ago and my brain hurts to this day.
It's genuinely shocking that he hasn't been forced to put disclaimers on his videos or something. The existence of his channel is a literal health hazard, especially with the audience and reach it has.
@@groofay he made that church competition chilli, how hasn’t someone sued him? He’s had to have poisoned people.

18:04 the synchronized "bro wtf are you talking about" moment between Brian and Frenchie 😂
Jack's cooking is insane. Worth noting that he has had salmonella MULTIPLE times in the last decade, and still continues to pump out questionable content despite health issues and at least one stroke. I think it's quite literally his massive ego keeping him alive at this point.
That’s horrid. I cannot imagine giving myself salmonella. I know not to mess around with chicken and pork or any ground meat. I often use a meat thermometer even if I know something should be done. Very helpful for cooking steak for others who don’t like it the way you do too.
Actually, the correct number of strokes is 4. He can now barely walk or function, and all of his videos are done with someone else - usually his wife doing everything for him, as he is unable.
bro is literally taking the quote "what doesn't kill me makes me stronger" too literally
@@ianbaker4295He's quite the horrible person outside of TH-cam too, so it's safe to say Jack is just genuinely that prideful about himself.
I think he is in stroke number 4. And still stuffing his face with fast food
The most insane thing about Jack is that he just uses the first take, even when the meat is raw.
He shouldn’t be afraid of a second take.
Hey there exists a comment on Cinnamon Ken's video of Jack's salads video saying a cameraman helped shoot the videos in Jack's laundry room and he hated that because of his rude behaviour.
No idea of his name but this unnamed camera man says filming Jack was the worst time of his life
hes more afraid of reshooting than salmonella
No, the most insane think about Jack is that he choked his kid unconscious.
He shouldn't be afraid of keeping food in the oven longer or using temp probes.
It isn't that. It's that he truly doesn't think there's anything wrong with cooking like this. Any sane person would say "Oops, didn't cook this chicken long enough". He's not only saying "it's perfect" but also thinks it's good enough that he should be giving other people advice. Like, this is the cooking of someone who's never done it before. He's mentally ill.
The pain, fear, and disbelief in their eyes as jack goes on with the chicken is like a renaissance painting come to life
Regular "Cooking" With Jack viewer here. That video is 10 years old. His health is unfortunately frail at the moment, but he's still uploading regularly. But I'm happy to say he used a meat themometer to cook his Thanksgiving Turkey. And it looked cooked. So props to Jack for that.
However, Jack is still Jack. He made a Queso Chicken Roll as recent as 2 weeks ago and used VANILLA flavored greek yogurt for his sauce instead of plain and told his viewers not to make because it tasted like (and i quote) "dog vomit".
Best that you guys stick to reacting to his older videos. They truly are entertaining.
Maybe someone told him about salmonella...
Can't imagine why his health is failing him if he's been eating raw meat for this long. Shocked he is still alive tbh.
@@CainXVII He's had it a few times. Maybe he actually believed the doctors finally.
If Jack goes through life like he does through his cooking videos, i would not be surprised if he ever published material with him considering himself the perfect example of perfect health since he has defeated a bunch of health issues.
I’m not one to make light of a person’s health problems, but Jack’s foolish confidence is so extreme that I don’t know if it’s parody or real.
Let's not pretend that Jack has improved over the years just because he used a thermometer. He hasn't changed a bit and has actually got worse. The only thing that has expanded is his insufferable ego. His recipes lately have been disgusting - ice cream bread and crustless pizza come to mind. Jack needs to just stop before someone actually follows his horrid advice and ends up sick or worse.
Guy born and raised in Mississippi here, Alligator Snapping turtle was the only turtle we used for soup, or anything else. But it was when we accidently caught them on the trotline, I don't know of a time when we actively went and hunted the turtle.
That's mainly due to the size of an alligator snapping turtle you would catch on a trotline. Very large, shell is over 2 feet across, they weigh over 100lbs.
Guga saying "ooooooh salamanella" made my day :D

Thanks for tuning in!
just finished it it was so funny to see you absolutely beaming with amusement and Frenchie and Guga horrified by Jack's chicken. I had a smile on my face the whole video! Thanks a lot Brian you made my day.@@ChefBrianTsao
I'm shocked Frenchy only had one quip in him. He was just so traumatized the entire episode.
It was funny seeing Frenchie catch on that it was gonna be raw from the jump, but the "sushi grade" line took me out. 🤣
Same here!!!
I like that you can still see the clumps of seasoning he put on his non-bagged chicken and vegies. Not only did he not put it on both sides, he's going to have some super salty sections and some unseasoned sections!
19:28 I think Jack ate it all too. There is some defect there, where he genuinely thinks his rotting or uncooked food is great. It’s both fascinating and grotesque.
We really don't see it, but I'll say it's possible. I believe if it's a video where he chewing for a long time, he throws it away. But this one, he might throw it in the microwave like he said.
I think it's just pure ego. Given a choice between admitting something he cooked didn't turn out perfectly or eating half-raw chicken and insisting it tastes delicious and perfect, he'll do the latter. He made it, so it must be the most perfect chicken ever made.
Maybe thats what his parents made him as a kid
Jack had had at least 3 strokes and has given himself salmonella at least 2 times.
@@jasonlott4885 Good.
Cooking With Jack is very useful for helping me to snack less. If I get the urge to snack when I shouldn't, I just watch a video reacting to him and boom, urge to eat crushed.
I grew up watching horror. Absolutely obsessed with it. But Hollywood needs to take a few pointers from Jack about real horror. Loved the video. There was passion, there was fear, there was the maniacal laughter of a friend in the throes of tormenting his buddies. Can't ask for more than that!
Bruh, Hollywood horror is no horror at all. But Jack's horror is definitely scarier than all legit horror films
@@ainzer2903 Agreed!
Apparently the McCormick bag n season recommends 1 hour at 375 so even if Jack had pre-heated the oven it would still be undercooked
Also, he definitely said it shouldn’t be red, since he gives a “tip” of how to avoid it
If McCormick had sponsored this video, Willoughby McCormick would rise from the grave for vengeance.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm a below average cook, then I watch videos like Jack's and I realize I'm actually above average xD
LOL I hear ya. Man that is terrible.
Imagine this scenario:
Somebody tells you that your food needs more improvement. Just say it's better than Jack's.
Now there's a concept.
thats not how that works
Jack's cooking is a confidence booster
At this point Jack is a horror movie for actual chefs.
Lol, Frenchie’s angfusion with Jack will never get old.
Frenchie breaking out into French in disgust always cracks me up.
The fact that there’s an entire Jack reaction industrial complex is absolutely amazing to me
Jack is the 2 girls 1 cup of cooking.
18:57 "I was gonna say trust your gut feeling but he obviously didn't" I think the real issue is that WAS Jack using his gut feeling
Guga's alarm, confusion and concern in cycling amounts and order at the notion of turtle soup is a highlight of both channels.
I love, LOVE, the fact that Jack only applied seasoning to the top of the chicken, then peeled that top layer away before tasting the undercooked, untouched by seasoning chicken. You groaned when he ate the skin, but that was the only part with any flavor!
With Shake and Bake, you’re supposed to put the seasoning in the bag, put your meat in, cover the meat with the breading-all sides-take it out and bake it in a separate pan (least that’s how I’ve seen it done). Turns out so delicious! Never seen a chicken cooked IN the bag.
Yeah same.
But this is not shake and bake.
Its called bag and bake.
You're supposed to bake it in the bag, and then cut it open and bake it for another 30 minutes.
He just doesn't know what he is doing😅
In the uk there’s a brand called maggi, the ‘so juicy ‘ sachets are baked in the bag.
In the 90s my mom, who admittedly wasn’t a very good cook, used to do a McCormick pot roast in the bag and as someone else pointed out I think you’re supposed to add water, too. Anyway, I actually loved it!
The fact that Jack has had two strokes is less of a miracle to explain how he’s still alive and not a vegetable
Jack would never have anything to do with vegetables...
You three guys are the best cooking panel ever! Fantastic!
Guga and French constantly asking questions and being so dumbfounded is hilarious 😂
As if Guga didn’t like chicken enough, I’m pretty sure this made him call it off for life now 😂
Love it when Paul speaks french, cuz you know he is pissed
To be fair, if memory serves me correct, Brian did tell Guga previously that he had a Jack chicken video he needed to watch 😂😂 the Chef never forgets haha
Brian giving trauma to both guga and frenchie at same time... Why you doing that brian😂😂
Wow, I thought I was aware of all of Jack’s cooking transgressions, but he wouldn’t (still doesn’t?) preheat his oven?! Idk why I’m shocked, but I still am. 😳
Loving Chef Brian, Chef Paul and Chef Guga in one video!
Even if he did preheat his oven, the Bag 'n Season instructs for the chicken to be baked for an hour and he only did 40 minutes. That 20 minutes makes a huge difference.
You don't always have to preheat your oven, if you are just roasting vegetables, cooking a lasagna or something like that it doesn't really matter and actually safes energy.
@@GGysar Is Jack roasting vegetables or lasagna in this video? No. He’s cooking chicken and thinks the entire cook time includes the preheating.
Frenchy and Jack are comedy gold. He does get mad and confused. His face 😂
THEY'RE TOGETHER AT LAST \O/
Also *"Is this gonna besushi grade?"* took me OUT
Jack videos are the cooking version of showing people 2girls1cup back in the day and filming their reactions. The horror never stops. As for turtle, as someone who grew up in rural Appalachia, it's actually pretty good! It's honestly not too dissimilar from alligator, except much smaller and more chickeny.
I'd rather see 2girls1cup than sit through more of Jack's garbage
You can not get a better reaction from frenchie and guga. Best video ever
@gugaFoods Turtle soup is considered a delicacy here in Singapore! It has a very interesting texture,...almost like a cross between fish and chicken! It would be interesting to see you experiment with it!
1:43 softshell turtle soup is considered a gourmet in Chinese, notably Cantonese, cuisine. It’s delicious, but we don’t eat that very often though.
That’s not Sushi grade. That’s Garbage Grade. Brian, remember when Guga talked about NoRo food grade for beef? This is the chicken equivalent!
I think the Jack oven makes this chicken go down like two grades. It comes out more alive than it comes in the packaging
Guga and Frenchie, as sorry as we are to see you suffer, the entertainment is just *chef's kiss*
Thank you Chef Brian for bringing us this golden content
Fantastic video as always! Also it was a pleasure meeting you at Mission Sandwich today, Chef! 🙏
It's so cool Guga collaborates with you! Such a good guy. Also super glad you brought Frenchie with you
Frenchie deserves a high value wine after that
Also, I would pay money for a video of Brian and Frenchy making aunt Myrna’s cheese salad.
😂
Let's crowdfund it!
My mom used to make Shake n Bake when I was a kid, and I remember it being so salty. I agree, making your own is just as easy and tastes better.
Brian my mom has been using an oven bag to cook Thanksgiving turkeys for years. But her turkeys always come out food-safe and edible 😂
As a chef, I love this channel so much! Even rewatching older videos, I feel so hyped to try new dishes in the kitchen! Thanks Chef Brian, and Frenchy & Guga too, of course!
The audacity of Jack to think he can teach others to cook genuinely makes my blood boil, unlike the blood in that chicken which barely reached a simmer 😂
Shake 'n Bake is pretty legit. I wouldn't ever buy it for myself, but I certainly wouldn't complaine if someone served it to me at their house.
'Will it be sushi grade' lol Frenchie's reactions are priceless lol
I love "Frenchies' " constant, yet undeterminable look of "are youf'n serious / insolent disgust and disbelief / distain " . lol
I love this channel. I used to watch a couple of vids back when you were solo reacting but adding Frenchie and other guests really makes it a lot of fun!
My face was the same as Chef Paul. I was legitimately grimacing the entire time and I dry heaved moment I saw him eat that.
This is the best birthday gift I could ask for! I'm so sorry for Chef Paul and Guga 😅
That part about oven temps being inaccurate clarified years of confusion.
Finally! Nice to see someone who kones what they’re talking about doing the reactions…
So many people out there just shaming for the shaming with personal attacks. Most of the time they clearly does’nt know what they’re talking about them selves.
Oddly, I don’t think I’ve ever watched a video with Guga in it, but I love the energy between you, Guga and Frenchy.
All this time I never thought to myself "Oh, the problem with Jack is that he doesn't pre-heat anything," until you mentioned it. I was thinking maybe something was wrong with his oven.
6:07 baking bags do not melt, they're rated to 500 degrees safe use
375 for an hour, maybe ninety minutes and that chicken would have been moist, golden brown and tender.
I use them all the time for roasts and chicken, whenever im not wrapping meat in Banana leaves I use baking bags.
I'm sorry you guys have to endure this. But the reactions are priceless. Had me laughing on the floor.
Moister does sound like a real word.
Sounds like you could serve them on the half shell, over ice and with lemon. Just never buy them if they're already open.
Jack is in a world all his own thats all i can say
You are the biggest troll for getting them both to react to this and I love you for it
Thanks for temperature tip for oven ranges, not aware that the oven elements are not always reliable.
My mom and Frenchie having the same face every time she is shown a Jack and Kay video.
I just wanted to say thank you. It has been a yesr since my mom's second stroke and watching your videos with me has helped her still have a job if cooking. She was a cook by profession.
Always great to see all 3 of you guys together, it's a fun time. From what I've heard from seeing comments/other reactions Jack has suffered a couple of different health issues, so I personally would not be surprised if he ate it. It's just weird over multiple videos it doesn't seem like he...learns? Either way thanks for the video!
The review we’ve all been waiting for and it didn’t disappoint 😂
Please....MORE COLLABS with the three of you!
This feels exactly like when my friends used to share shock videos with each other in middle school and high school.
It’s the chef version of the pain Olympics or that video with the nice ladies and the cup.
Uncle Guga looked like he was gonna cry... Its okay id cry to... You had to let your friend terrorize you with jacks video.
Edit: Chef Brian looked worried when he heard his friends are gonna gang up to repay him😂
I feel like Frenchie and Guga would have rather been waterboarded than watch another second of Jack 😂
Bag cooking has been around since I wanna say the 70's and really was a thing in the 80s. And no you do not get plastic particles in the food using the bag and the chicken does come out pretty nice IF done correctly. Also the directions, at least on their website, says nothing about cutting the bag open to brown the chicken. But it does say to cook in lower half of oven, at 350 degrees F for an hour
You do get chemical migration from the bags into your food. However when used correctly (proper temperature, not more than recommended time), the amount is minimal & is safe enough. That said, oily food can encourage the movement of fat soluble chemicals so you need to be extra careful.
You definitively get some bad residues , but hardly enough to become sick . Unless you maybe eat that every day , or even then occasionally screw up the temp
Guga asking if Jack's video is sponsored and the reaction after is PURE GOLD HAHAHAHA 18:03 had to stamp it
Now tell Guga that people have actually sponsored Jack on several occasions
Agree Frenchie. Chills and threw up when Jack actually ATE THAT.OMG😮😮😮😮😮😮
The immediate "no shot Mccormick would sponsor this." made me laugh out loud.
This is the exact reaction i expected from this video. Pure gold!
This video is why I'm not surprised Jack has had salmonella 4+ times
Jack's cooking videos are giving frenchy Frenchie PTSD. The sushi grade comment killed me. 💀
I remember in the Army they used to have signs in the DFAC that said “just because the chicken is pink doesn’t mean it’s raw.” Nah, it was definitely raw and now I’m convinced they let Jack write the recipes.
Gugas ultimate revenge steak should be cooking a steak with Jacks "best seasoning ever" and feeding it to Leo and Angel.
I’d love to see you guys go on a food road trip, you’ve got a charismatic dynamic :)

The best part about Jack is the fact that his washer and drier are in his kitchen.

Jack is basically a horror story for real chefs. Watch his Lazy Mans Meatball Enchiladas to see more of his horrors.
Brian: Thank you for welcoming me into your home.
Also Brian: Now lets wear that welcome out immediately with Jack.
My dad has a funny story about turtle soup. He must have been a teenager, and he would catch snappers to sell to local restaurants for soup. One time he sold a turtle to a restaurant, and the owner put it in the back of his pickup truck. Then somehow the turtle got out, and my dad ended up catching it again and then he sold it to the same restaurant owner. He made the mistake of bragging about this at the dinner table, and my grandfather made him go back and give the guy his money back.
