As I watched through this story within the husband and wife series. I keep finding it difficult to accept the preaching of IVF fertility treatment for christians. My spirit just doesn't seems to find peace or agreement with this. I think this goes against the very principle of faith. What is the point of faith, the very concept of christian faith which is that "Our God Always Does The Impossible". The christian concept of faith that " This God makes the impossible possible", " God does what no man can do". This God who gave a virgin conception in order for we humans to have a authentic God Messiah to redeem us. This God who commands mountains to uproot themselves and they obey. This God who raises worshippers and human descendants for Abraham out of the rocks on the soil. This God who raises the dead. This very God who gives death sentence infirmicy patience brand new organs defying all scientific and medical understanding. This is the God who truthfully will need to depend on one IVF technology to knit a spirit into the cells of a man and woman? . How come he didn't need any human or any external help for that matter in order to knit Isaac into the belly of Sarah?. What about Samuel?, does the bible teach us that Samuel's mother went to a medical doctor for one technological advancement?. Or does the bible actually teach us that Hannah went to God's temple and cried her heart out unto God in prayer, and God answered her prayer by knitting Samuel into her womb?. Rebecca's case, did Isaac visit one phycisian or medical doctor to IVF himself and Rebecca in order for Esau and Jacob to be conceived?. From my understanding, this thing you have been advocating and preaching in these episodes of "Resolute Heart" simply does not lign up with biblical teachings. It simply doesn't, nothing to do with married or unmarried status. It simply is in direct conflict with the very essense of God's nature and identity, which is his power to do absolutely everything without any exception ever. Another issue I as a christian am wary of in terms of things such as IVF is it's trustworthiness. How do you know you are actually getting a human baby?. For if according to our bible this God knits his spirit into the melted cells between man and woman in order for a human to develope and grow in the womb. This very bible also never mentions any case, nor promoted any alternative conception methods than the one we all know. The one the bible refers to as; " the man visiting the woman and knowing her". As far as the bible is concerned, conception can only occur after "a man knows a woman". So,then this IVF thing of no "knowing nobody" , a human is formed how?. To me it is obvious that things such as IVF are a hotbed for demonic conceptions. I honestly don't think God is going to invest his spirit in a context outside his set laws. The law concerning a human child conception is clear; " A man knows a woman" , From that act, God visits the woman to knitt his own spirit into the womb. For the spirit is a spirit taken from the loins of the man who came to know the woman. Not one medical laboratorium scientific procedure. Yes, technology is wonderful and let us be grateful to God. Did the scientists tell us they got their inventions from our God?. Or are we by now very well familiar with how "godlessness" and all manners of religious systems than our "christian faith" clearly dominates the scientific world internationally?. So, people we know does not belong to our God, invent things that are clearly spiritual in nature such as creating human life. And here naive said christian is thanking God for something that clearly did not come from him. Just saying.
