Thank you for the informative video. My personal preference is to use a booster pad if I think I need one, but it's always good to know alternate solutions if needed.
been there done that, but you have to be careful with just ripping off the sides and leak guards. I once ended up with all the super absorber of the baby diaper spilled in the diaper, it's hard to clean. I use scissors to carefully cut the baby diaper into shape and what is left is mostly a pouch of fluff and SAP. I even make some holes in the outer foil of the baby diaper so fluid can pass through. I even prepare those DIY boosters before hand. I even did that inserting too, but i used some scissors to carefully cut a slit. Either in the inside mesh or outside foil (and patch it with tape) It's really funny how SAP is in baby diapers relative to their size compared to incon diapers.
I used to simply cut the diaper backing with a pointy siccors, either in the front or in the back, right beneath where the absorbency core starts. Then I separate the absorber material from the backing with one hand like in the video and then put the prepped baby diaper inside. After this just put a peace of ducktape on the slit, and there is no booster to see or to move around. I did this with 1 to 3 pampers and it gave my Tena maxi extreme absorbency capacity. It worked for any diaper I tried. Although I just by abdl diapers nowadays, so I don't need to do this anymore
I’m incontinent and have been my entire life and a very heavy wetter and before the advent of booster pads I used to use pampers for booster pads, I preferred pampers over the others for a couple of reasons, back then about 25-30 years ago they were thick and they had that sweet baby powder smell which help with odors. I wore 3-4 pampers with the sides and tapes cut off and I would cut through the backing and the padding but not through the lining, and well being a guy I placed them in front on the inside of my first diaper and kind of spread them apart, I had already cut through the backing and the padding of the first diaper and then put my 2nd diaper on, and tape up with clear packing tape, then to prevent them from riding down because I have no butt I wear suspenders to hold them up. I was a trucker way back then and this method would last me a good 15 or more hours.
I just heard that CTDC will be closing their store 😭. I had hoped that one day I might get to check them out if I ever went to LV. Though I think they will continue to have their website.
Id love to go, I had actually been planning to go to LV tk gamble and such and was going to go to CTDC while I was there but unfortunately I’ve hit a major financial hardship and it looks like it will be a very long time before I’ll be able to go anywhere anytime soon 😔. I’m more concerned about how I’m going to be able to pay for my diapers once I run out of what I have. Insurance and my Medicaid will pay for them, well that is if I don’t lose my Medicaid like I lost my food stamps. But the diapers that they will pay for aren’t any better then depends or certainty from Walgreens or assurance from WalFarts or even wise, Depends yuk!
Putting a baby diaper between the layers isn't a great option, because it takes a lot of time, can be messy, and it isn't much better than just the option 1 you started the video with. However, there's also another way to insert the baby diaper between the layers. LittleFrekja made a video about it (A Better Way to Stuff a Diaper) where she cuts the plastic of the diaper at the back, inserts the baby diaper and then uses some tape to seal the cut. This way you probably won't be causing extra damage to the plastic film, but it is probably going to be more work and it's also a bit messier. Not really an ideal option, no matter how you do it.
Well till I was 12 I wore youth diapers with no boosters. At 12 with medication I became dry but at 14 the meds stopped working and both bedwetting and even occasional pantswetting was back. By then there were Attends and Depends and both leaked on me - at least damp beds and clothes. So I got Pampers or Huggies to insert inside my diaper at night and as a teen Diapers with Pampers inside were my night undies. I did dry up most nights by summer after high school but I was having too many close calls and a few accidents so back to diapers and I was a heavy night wetter and still am. Did you wear a child diaper inside your night diaper as a teen too? Anyhow I did this until thicker diapers became available...
No. I never wore baby diapers or boosters when I was a kid. I started wearing diapers again when I was 12, but they were the pull-up type, and they leaked like crazy. I didn't switch to tape on diapers until I started my first job at 18. I was lucky and almost never wet the bed. To this day, I very rarely wet the bed.
When I was young I wore something like a link cloth with strings on the side to wear a baby diaper or I would wear a blue chux pad with a baby diaper and then tape up with duct tape.
Thank you for the informative video.

Yeah, you can use baby diaper if you run out of boosters 😊

Yeah, it's nice that most ABDL diapers are thick enough on their own.
I wanna try this! It looks so fun!
It works well 😃

I've been wearing diapers since I was 15, my dad's abuse caused it.
Sorry to hear that, I have been wearing them since I was 12
