Honestly it does give the car a more modern look, and I do understand why people do it. The FD is a SUPER aerodynamic car and the pop ups add a significant amount of drag which kinda defeats the whole purpose of that. However, even with the increased drag coefficient, personally I love them. If it was an FD I was turning into a full fledged race car then sure, I’d install fixed ones, but if this thing was going to see any street use at all then the pop ups are fuckin staying and there’s nothing anyone can say to change my mind.
