Its amazing what motherhood can do to monkeys. Bubby used to be very spoiled and cheeky but since becoming a mother shes become such a kind hearted monkey. Its made her appearance a lot more cute too since her face doesnt look as cheeky
Something to keep in mind is that no matter what age they are, the kids are always going to sleep with their moms at the end of the day. Desirey is always going to be close to Dolly no matter how far she ventures off with the other yearlings.
They can’t grow if you don’t let them go…..as scary as it seems, but Desiree is becoming a confident young lady …I think she’ll be a fine mother like her own
Awwwww good catch reactions Milly!! And you didn’t freak out on the others either like most mums would. Loved how Desiree gave a little branch bounce show to you, Mr AM. It was almost like a “come on now please, sir, stop worrying now!”… super cute video yet again!!
Yes Desirey needs a sister, someone to cuddle and play with. She's such a cutie but mum Dolly doesn't seem as close once weaning was over. Thanks for featuring Desirey again, I love her so ❤
@@gsmith6026 I agree. At her age, monkeys are at their most independent because they are testing their limits and still new to the world around them. She is always going to be close to her mom no matter what because she will always be in the troop with her. Not to mention that family units all sleep together at the end of the night, so Dolly will always be there.
Désiréy is growing up! She's probably the equivalent of a teenager at this stage, rather running all around the neighbourhood, and hanging out with her peers! 🇸🇪
10:08 I got a nice picture from this scene. I wish Desirey would have turned when her and Hailey were hugging. Of course you mentioned that scene but I’m not sure why I would think that Mr. AM doesn’t notice what would be the sweetest photos? I’m not sure why I bother mentioning it. I guess I have this image in my head of his walls filled with monkey pictures lol. In any case, that was a beautiful scene and I’m so glad you were able to catch it. It made searching for Desirey and staying out way late totally worth it. Although I did feel a bit sad seeing how upset you felt when you couldn’t find her. I guess that’s life though. If you feel your heart with love, there’s no doubt one day you will feel a broken heart, you can never replace that feeling truly is the best feeling. Thanks so much for all you do. ❤

When Hailey came up to Desirey at 9:44, the look and demeanor of Desirey was "What the heck am I supposed to do with this? I'm just minding my own business." I do disagree with AM i don't think Desirey wants a baby sister. It seemed to me she wants to be left alone!
To me it looked like she got a bit shocked that Hailey turned up and had no idea how to act but you can see how Désiréy starts to hold on and hug Hailey. When Slashy came up to them she acted like she knew she had to remove herself a bit from Hailey but Slashy didn't care. In the end we can see how Désiréy hugs Haley from being. When she was alone again it looked like she didn't know what to do with those feelings (whatever they were) the encounter made her feel so she went up in that little tree to shake a branch to release some of it. 🤓🇸🇪
@@PamPreston78 I haven't seen anytjing this year. Dorothy is leaving her daughter alone, and it's been a long time since Dy has tried anything. Daphny maybe a bit baby crazy and the new mums are keeping her away, but nothing like a kidnapping. In Lowina's troop Bo has been kept at bay. It all seems good so far

If you mean something right above and between her eyes then it's something she's had for a long time. I think she even was born with it. I don't think it's a bump but how she's constructed😁. In some lights it looks bigger and sometimes I even think it's a bit bigger too. 🤓🇸🇪

Dolly is a good mother. Desirey may be her only girl so far, but Dolly will teach her daughter as well as she has taught her sons.

I think it is more of Desirey becoming more and more independent. I’m sure if something scares her or upsets her, she runs right back to mom.
