When you as a tourist stroll in a street in a foreign town, and then you see a street on your left or right, you feel "it's greener on the other side of the fence". This is what happens to me, anyway,engaging into the smallest streets, even in malls etc.
I am accepted to Turku University, but I am worried about coming to finland cause I heared they are kinda xenophobic and not friendly to foreigners at all.
I don't think that's true in general. But at the moment us univeristy students (including me) are extremely angry at the exchange students, because they have been partying and spreading covid around like crazy. And it seems like other foreigners as well are not taking our covid restrictions seriously, many of them are not wearing masks etc. So, in short, if you respect our culture and rules, you should be fine
@@vergil1444 I mentioned this concern to many international students studying in Finland. according to those conversation, Finns are really nice, considerate and helpful. moreover if they were xenophobic then why would they give me an international student a 100% tuition fee scholarship to go study in their country? This alone shows that they are very welcoming people. So I don't worry about that anymore. You shouldn't as well
