Interesting. A very digestible sonata, even beautiful. You understand it very well. It's like a mixture of Wagner, jazz, and Rachmaninoff? (Who knows! They were friends, Scriabin was only one year older... ). Scriabin, obviously loved repeated chords, they are in many of his compositions. Bravo!!
Hello, if anything Rachmaninoff was inspired by Scriabin and not tje other way around. Without Scriabin influence the op.39 etudes tableaux would pale in comparison
@@Bruceykeys I wouldn't say so, I think they both influenced each other though Scriabin was far less eminent in influence later on in his life. However, Rachmaninoff's influence from Scriabin comes clear in the harmonic language and the pianistic concentration of his later works (Opp. 39 and 40)
@@SCRIABINIST I think you´re not being completely fair with Scriabin. His productive life was half that of Sergei, and most important, Scriabin didn´t move to America to play, conduct, record (for RCA) and give interviews. In those years, that was a huge boost to any artist´s career. Russians artists, except for the very few giants, were almost erased from the western scenario.
You play but you don't destroy Scriabin. Good way you have 😊 thanks. Your like new generation of playing maybe?? I don't have anyone in mind to compare you with. Best as always. Robert 7-9-21.
