Hi, everyone. Thanks for watching this video. I want to let everyone know that I just launched a Patreon page for this channel. The link is in the video description. Patreon is a way for viewers of my videos to show their support for the work I do and gain access to behind the scenes updates from me. I just launched the Patreon page last month and I'm working on coming up with additional perks for Patrons. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you and thanks for watching.
I went & checked it out. This is the first time I have been interested in becoming a Patron. Sadly, I discovered Patreonage is outside of my budget. Nevertheless I wish you continued inspiring & rewarding success with your channel, which continues to inspire & reward my viewership. 💝
Not only do you do incredible work, you have the most relaxing furniture flipping/refinishing/wood working channel on TH-cam. Great ASMR that I sometimes play to fall asleep to. :)
Agreed. Him and Baumgartner Restoration are the two channels that make actually good repair videos with speech in it, otherwise I like channels that don't say much lol
I’ve been going through pretty serious depression, but the way I squealed like a piggy when I saw you’ve posted. Thank you sir, I needed this boost of serotonin
Another beautiful piece. I watch quite a few refinishing channels but you are, by far, my favorite. I like that you explain what you're doing and don't feel the need to add distracting music as a filler. The silence helps the viewer to really focus on the work you're doing. I also love the end reveal where we can just stare at the entire finished piece, unadorned or staged. Keep up the amazing work!
As a beginning furniture restorer, in this and future videos, I'd love it if you could be more specific about the grit of sandpaper you use. I also really appreciate it when you show packages or mention specific brands of finishes, stains, etc. It helps guide my choices. Love your work!
Just got a scraper for a windowsill in my 114 year old apartment. I had tired several other method with very little luck but with the scraping it is so easy I will be done in a day.
I thoroughly enjoy your common sense approach to every piece you save. Refreshing to see the value in these pushed-aside relics. There's incredible beauty in everything you touch. Thank you so much for the time you spend recording your talents!
I love your work. I have been following you for one year now. First from my personal account and now from this one that hosts my Persian furniture flipping channel. You were and are one of my greatest sources of inspiration. I really, really love your work. Thanks for being there.
Great tip on fixing that corner! Makes us think we need to think "out of the box" on ways to repair. What a simple and wonderful restoration! Thank you!
Brilliant - obviously ! Such a basic table, but you made it look better than it did when new. That top is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your skills and 'tips', and for your simple but engaging explanation of what you do.
It’s a beautiful, solid piece, and great job matching the legs and apron to the top. It looks like it was always a solid piece built out of walnut. Sidenote, I looked into using wood conditioner from a few vids back and got to use it on a current project with knotty variegated pine boards, and it worked like a charm to tone down the effect of the grain once stained. Thanks for all your tips 👍
Best videos on TH-cam! I think your calm voice and demeanor is refreshing, as refreshing as your work with these old pieces of furniture you choose to bring back to life. No HEATED shop?
I had a slight stomach ache and thought knitting on my latest project might help. Background music? Nope. Dashner's Full Playlist for the win! My stomach ache is gone!
I'm always happy to see another video from you, I always learn something new. Maybe someday you would consider refinishing an old solid wood 6 panel door? I have a few in my house that I could use some guidance with. Keep up the great work!
Your work is excellent..finishing is excellent you restore the old piece of furniture to its original beautiful self ..A craftmanship which is becoming rare in todays modern ..fast ...busy ..life styles ..keep up d good work bro
Your videos are always so informative, thank you for sharing all of your extensive knowledge and expertise! I would definitely buy any piece you worked on, having seen how much care you take to do everything properly.
Another great restoration. Gotta say, it is nice to watch something so relaxing. I can't pin it down whether its the tone of your voice or the absence of the annoying music that most play in the background. Whatever it is, keep it going. Nice job!
Every time I go to the thrift store or restore I think of you and this channel and imagine myself refinishing a unique piece that I picked up a fair price. One day!

Patreon names Tier 1: Scrapers, Tier 2: Sanders, Tier 3: Lacquers?
How about a video showing your face to patrons only.
Maybe some deep-dive videos into materials, techniques or your knowledge of mid-century furniture, especially brands to look for.

Maybe you could allow the patrons to purchase something you have restored every month, like an auction maybe.

I agree: most soothing, reassuring voice on the Internet!
Absolutely. Bob Ross except with a carbide scraper. 🙂

Gorgeous! I just love watching your work. The beauty of that Walnut veneer was outstanding and it was great that you could retain it.
She's a beauty! I especially like the visual contrast between the snow and the table, it makes for great presentation.

Dare I say these redos look better than the factory finish. Great job.
Cold day there, hot night here. Greetings from Australia!
