This whole week I had a crazy feeling. I was tired of feeling empty and hurting people I loved. This morning my bible spp had 1 Corinthians 13:7 on my notifications. Last night, I spoke with a close friend and explained what I was feeling. I was ready to tear down this concrete wall and be at my rawest form being open and transparent. I have tuned in every Sunday since 2017, and never felt what I experienced this morning watching this message l. I was broken growing up in toxicity situations and always leaning on my own understanding. i came here from Allen Parr’s video reacting to Markus Rodgers reacting to this video and when i tell you that the message was EXACTLY the answer i needed. i was so troubled because i felt like i had been living a lie and like my experiences with the Holy Spirit didn’t matter because i didn’t speak in tongues. I was invited to Russian church in my neighborhood. I went 3 or 4 times before I realized they spoke in tongues!!! Lol!!! The whole service is in Russian. I had a translator. Momma Russian in front of us went to shush us but my translator said she's American and we were good. Such a sweet and funny memory!! Loved those people ❤
I have fallen, just last night. I pathologically told myself I wasn't worthy of helping others and my shame led me to self sabotage. I broke down in tears mid watching this sermon. To realize I had been using these various gifts and been protected by Holy Spirit for a vast majority of life without giving credit or acknowledging the true SOURCE and he is Holy Spirit. I had to apologize because so many moments I felt lonely and he's been there the whole time. No it was not just a mere coincidence. Yes it was GOD, but his name is HOLY SPIRIT. When he preached about miracles it reminded me that in this series part 2 I think, before pastor Mike started preaching he prayed for everyone that was sick and told us to pray for each other and not for ourselves as intercession for each other and so we prayed and wowww God healed me physically but also spiritually for something I was dealing with for some time all this to encourage you to have faith in God

I am watching this Jan 2022. I am I watch this today. I always got confused about speaking in tongues. I never spoke in church but I always spoke in my quiet time when I’m praying in the shower or when I am praying walking around in my room. This whole week I had a crazy feeling. I was tired of feeling empty and hurting people I loved. This morning my bible spp had 1 Corinthians 13:7 on my notifications. Last night, I spoke with a close friend and explained what I was feeling. I was ready to tear down this concrete wall and be at my rawest form being open and transparent. I have tuned in every Sunday since 2017, and never felt what I experienced this morning watching this message l. I was broken growing up in toxicity situations and always leaning on my own understanding. I am disgusted on the person I was, but glory to God and through the Holy Spirit, I have finally buried my hurt from my childhood ways which was not great and not knowing how to treat women. May 9, 2021 I am finally a man. It’s like Pastor Mike has so much he wants us to know and even at one point in the message it’s like He’s at a crossroads on which direction he can go with the message because each gift can be a sermon on it’s own. By the time I got to the end, I was begging to receive the other gifts. It literally felt like wanting to receive superpowers. I even thought about my daughter who’s 5 months and how one day im going to have to explain to her about Holy Spirit and put it to her in a way where the Holy spirit through Pastor Mike Did to me & I saw myself explaining to Her that she had superpowers she could benefit from by way of the Holy Spirit. i came here from Allen Parr’s video reacting to Markus Rodgers reacting to this video and when i tell you that the message was EXACTLY the answer i needed. i was so troubled because i felt like i had been living a lie and like my experiences with the Holy Spirit didn’t matter because i didn’t speak in tongues. I was invited to Russian church in my neighborhood. I went 3 or 4 times before I realized they spoke in tongues!!! Lol!!! The whole service is in Russian. I had a translator. Momma Russian in front of us went to shush us but my translator said she's American and we were good. Such a sweet and funny memory!! Loved those people ❤
I have fallen, just last night. I pathologically told myself I wasn't worthy of helping others and my shame led me to self sabotage. It was not until I hit rock bottom, I could see all the things that were working in my life. God please help them, and myself to stay encouraged. Then God sent me here, and resilience is on the way. I broke down in tears mid watching this sermon. To realize I had been using these various gifts and been protected by Holy Spirit for a vast majority of life without giving credit or acknowledging the true SOURCE and he is Holy Spirit. I had to apologize because so many moments I felt lonely and he's been there the whole time. No it was not just a mere coincidence. Yes it was GOD, but his name is HOLY SPIRIT. I feel so blessed that I have the Spirit in me and I'm not ashamed of the gifts nor the characteristic traits it has given me. When he preached about miracles it reminded me that in this series part 2 I think, before pastor Mike started preaching he prayed for everyone that was sick and told us to pray for each other and not for ourselves as intercession for each other and so we prayed and wowww God healed me physically but also spiritually for something I was dealing with for some time all this to encourage you to have faith in God

I am watching this Jan 2022. I am I watch this today. I always got confused about speaking in tongues. I never spoke in church but I always spoke in my quiet time when I’m praying in the shower or when I am praying walking around in my room. For years the church told me I was wrong that I needed a interpreter. So now I know that I have the Grace of tongues because it happens on my quiet time. Prayer language with me and the Holy Spirit.
