Danny being able to tamper things with no counterplay whatsoever is still super OP, I've had this game for over a week and I immediately picked up how over powered he is compared to everyone else. Literal pay to win, you cannot do anything once pressure valve has been tampered with but maybe try and body block? But usually people will have more than enough health to take a few hits and slip out into the exit. They need to tune his ability or give killers some sort of counter play to that.
Danny is op for sure. Whats the answer to a fair nerf? 🤷🏻♂️ Also is a nerf fair to people who bought the product as he is? Is it fair to buy something and have someone come in and change it? Tough questions for sure
If its effecting the gameplay and exprience for both new and veteran players. I'd say yes its fair. Releasing Danny with not only an overpowered ability, but exclusive perks sets a precedent. That they are willing to create and come out with basically pay to win characters. Which will continue to cycle out the older cast of characters and create these metas where its mostly DLC characters, if not all. There needs to be a balance. Sure some of the other characters in the game have potentially over powered abilities. Connie would be the next in line if I had to say someone was over powered. Leather face having the opportunity of basically one shotting people, thats pretty crazy too. If the devs want to continue to go down the pay to win route, rather than taking the time to come out with strong but balance characters. Or balance across the board, its just gonna put further strain on the community. I love the game, I love the concept, I love the lore of TCM. I want it to succeed, as we all do. Judging by the results of each match, Danny and Connie should not be allowed to use their abilities, or be banned from the tournament altogether. Certain perks such as Bomb Squad and Fast Hands should probably be banned as well. Would be good to have a veto system where teams can ban victims/family members/perks/maps etc. In a TCM tournament you need rules on balance.

A tournament is the best argument on balance you're gonna get. DBD tournaments have rules on banned perks and addons for a reason. These games aren't designed to be competitively balanced, therefor it's the responsibility of tournament organizers to make them as balanced as possible and ensure integrity and fairplay.

However, this isn’t the case and I don’t think it has been since release, especially as of late with all of these unnecessary family nerfs and victim buffs. It’s reached a point where victims are no longer afraid of being spotted because they know they can just punch the family around and rush objectives in 2-3 mins while most family members are still trying to setup. And don’t even get me started on danny, I don’t think I even need to address the heaping issue that is his character. I mean look at this video alone, the victims are hardly trying and escaping with 0 difficulty while the family scrambles trying to figure out counterplay and callouts, not to mention the countless video examples of survivors opening an exit 45 seconds into a match, which is barely enough time to even start playing when you consider the leatherface cutscene family has to sit through.

What a poor sport she is. Also, her team mate refers to the other team as "annoying" because they are playing well and keep forcing him back to the basement. Was nice seeing both of them getting eliminated.

It’s easy to forget characters are real players especially when they’re being goofy and silly. Matches were intense and a lot of streamers were getting annoyed. Erotica is a doll. I didn’t see anyone else getting hate for how they spoke besides me and her..
I apologize for not knowing who you are either, but I didn't give anyone hate. I watched the whole tournament and those two comments just stood out to me. There is no hate towards anyone, just a little feeling of poor sportsmanship, which happens to all of us including myself. LF, Hitch, and Cook are still the best team combo at high level gameplay. Nancy can be good but only in Family house, but she's still not that great compared to LF. She takes too long to set up her traps, and victims at high level play are always going to rush and try to get out of the house as fast as possible before you can even finish setting up. Plus you can get bad RNG on the 2nd floor of the family house where the barricade spawns in a really bad spot preventing Nancy and Cook from accessing the other half of the 2nd floor area, leaving Hitch as the only possible character able to defend it. Which can be easily beaten with just a leland barging him or him getting grappled by someone else while the others try to do fusebox.
LF is still the strongest force. His ability to instantly kill victims and destroy infinite loops is huge. He also can rotate for patrol better than anyone.
Even on something like Family House I'd use a LF. He's the only "counter" to Danny as he has 1 shot kill potential where no other member does. Whoever ran the tournament sold so unbelievably hard though by even allowing Danny or Poison Claws...
@@Jeromepkr you can 3-4 tap most characters in the game with any character. I have a clip with my sissy build hitting a Julie 4 times and incapacitating her in less than 2 seconds. And the same with a 3 tap on a Danny. But you are right, LP is super strong. It’s not a competitive balanced game - people bring in whatever and it’s up to the other side to counter it.
Unfortunately they didnt score any points but that doesnt take away from how awesome his team is. There was a lot of good comp in this tourney. Wouldve been hard for anyone

I disagree with Julie being the same level as Sonny, I feel like Ana/Leland aren’t needed together.. I run Julie as a mini Connie with no sell so like a tougher Connie, where ever Connie goes I go the opposite and we have two doors open on opposite sides of slaughter.

It ain't victim favored, it's pretty evenly balanced, but I agree- this is just weird having "tournaments" for this game
