my interpretation of this video is that it shows the chaos of a serious relationship. things can feel like they’re frozen and sometimes it’s hard to let the other person know how you actually feel. saying “I love you” (the 8 letters) puts people in an extremely vulnerable position, but once you do release those emotions that are bottled up, things are set back in motion (shown by the explosions that set the video back to a regular speed). The lyrics express that heartbreak was involved, now it’s hard to trust. ultimately the video shows in the end how coming to terms with your emotions sets you free, as the scenery is extremely peaceful. Idk, this could be completely wrong but I guess coming up with your own story is the point of art :)

To me this video has a very special meaning. The hardships and bad moments in relationships often make everything around us seem stressing and uncontrollable. Jonah is lost in the forest, Zach and Jack are in a place that's surrounded by a chaotic atmosphere (notice the shattered glass and paper piece respectively in the air ) and Corbyn and Daniel are both lonely and isolated in maybe different situations (very nice contrast between the black and full white scenes of theirs). The phrase "8 letters" refers to the number of letters in "I love you" and sometimes just saying these simple 3 words can still be extremely hard, especially after previously being hurt and therefore finding it hard to begin again. Eventually the boys in the video go through a lot but manage to find the power to move on, by believing in themselves or just the magic of the universe (like in the wonderful scene with Jonah and his connection with the eerie bird) and finally get united in the end of the video, which solidifies how important friendships are in moments like this. A wonderful video indeed that underlines the complexity of human connections but also reminds us that we have the power to keep trying if we want to. Congrats to the boys and the video producers for yet another masterpiece

I think that Jonah was deceived by the one he loves and now he chooses not to trust anyone and his scene in the forest reveals that he was looking for peace and he find his peace is with himself and not with any other person Zach is in the church because he lost the one he loves and the it was his final place to be with her for the last time. His scene in the church reveals that their love was pure and so strong Jack is struggling with himself because he not sure whether he loves his girlfriend or not his scene in the house with everything broken around him reveals that he wants her yet he not so sure Corbyn died before being able to tell his girl that he is in love with her.His scene may reveal that he was a good person before he died Daniel might be a popular person and that's made the girl he loves afraid of being with him The final scene when they all joined Jonah in the forest might be a sign that they might be waiting for someone or something In general the song reveals that not all love stories end with a happy ending

Jonah is in a forest. When the rocks were surrounding him, it symbolised the huge burden in him from Corbyn. Zach is in a church surrounded by letters, this is possibly linked to when he said “I’ve said these words before but it was a lie. And you deserve to hear them a thousand times” shows maybe diary entries from him about his life or maybe letters about Corbyn? Jack is in a room with shattered glass and broken things because he was enraged about Corbyn so he broke everything and now he’s sitting on the couch knowing that Corbyn is gone. Corbyn is in a white room and cloud looking things around him because he is in heaven. There is a bird which is rainbow coloured unlike the surroundings and colours of the forest. The colours represent a new day and a bright future. Daniel is in a black room with an X in the back because he cannot accept the fact that Corbyn is gone. The letters are spiraling around Zach because they’re haunting him. Maybe Zach said something to Corbyn not meanfully and is now regretting it and is wishing he could have said the 8 letters. When Jonah touches the salt lamp, it represents the journey of moving on. When the forest floor vibrated and it shook, it shows that moving on isn’t easy. But when the flower grew it showed that at the end of all this trouble, comes a beautiful thing. Then it shows all of them United. All of them are together no matter the circumstances. To me this video has a very special meaning. The hardships and bad moments in relationships often make everything around us seem stressing and uncontrollable. Jonah is lost in the forest, Zach and Jack are in a place that's surrounded by a chaotic atmosphere (notice the shattered glass and paper piece respectively in the air ) and Corbyn and Daniel are both lonely and isolated in maybe different situations (very nice contrast between the black and full white scenes of theirs). The phrase "8 letters" refers to the number of letters in "I love you" and sometimes just saying these simple 3 words can still be extremely hard, especially after previously being hurt and therefore finding it hard to begin again. Eventually the boys in the video go through a lot but manage to find the power to move on, by believing in themselves or just the magic of the universe (like in the wonderful scene with Jonah and his connection with the eerie bird) and finally get united in the end of the video, which solidifies how important friendships are in moments like this. A wonderful video indeed that underlines the complexity of human connections but also reminds us that we have the power to keep trying if we want to. Congrats to the boys and the video producers for yet another masterpiece

I think that Jonah was deceived by the one he loves and now he chooses not to trust anyone and his scene in the forest reveals that he was looking for peace and he find his peace is with himself and not with any other person
Zach is in the church because he lost the one he loves and the it was his final place to be with her for the last time. His scene in the church reveals that their love was pure and so strong

Zach is in a church surrounded by letters, this is possibly linked to when he said “I’ve said these words before but it was a lie. And you deserve to hear them a thousand times” shows maybe diary entries from him about his life or maybe letters about Corbyn? Jack is in a room with shattered glass and broken things because he was enraged about Corbyn so he broke everything and now he’s sitting on the couch knowing that Corbyn is gone. Corbyn is in a white room and cloud looking things around him because he is in heaven. There is a bird which is rainbow coloured unlike the surroundings and colours of the forest. The colours represent a new day and a bright future. Daniel is in a black room with an X in the back because he cannot accept the fact that Corbyn is gone. The letters are spiraling around Zach because they’re haunting him. Maybe Zach said something to Corbyn not meanfully and is now regretting it and is wishing he could have said the 8 letters. When Jonah touches the salt lamp, it represents the journey of moving on. When the forest floor vibrated and it shook, it shows that moving on isn’t easy. But when the flower grew it showed that at the end of all this trouble, comes a beautiful thing. Then it shows all of them United. All of them are together no matter the circumstances.
