Jay Durant is the host of This is BC, which profiles unique British Columbians who have an amazing story to tell. An Ontario native, Jay’s first broadcast job was with CTV in Toronto. From there, he made a quick stopover in Lethbridge before joining ITV (now Global Edmonton) as the weekend sports anchor.
A former football and rugby player, he is a member of the BC Sports Hall of Fame selection committee.
He currently spends a lot of time at the ballpark cheering on his daughter’s softball games.
I am deeply appreciative of Jay and Global BC to shine some light on myself and Hidden Wonders the Speakeasy Magic Experience.
